At the end of a long road - A bed
Pros:

Very Asian, moderate cleanliness, no top sheet meaning you are sharing your coverlet with all who have gone before you. Breakfast minimal but at the price expected.

Hotel ok, Booking Office nicht empfehlenswert
Pros:

Zimmer sind in Ordnung, nichts aussergewöhnliches. Frühstück eher dürftig (1 Getränk und 1 Baguette oder Pancake). Personal solala, versucht recht aufdringlich Touren/Bustickets zu verkaufen. Daher haben wir eine Tagestour (gleiche Preise und Anbieter wie überall im Ort) und auch den Bus für die Weiterfahrt nach Norden im Hotel gebucht - würden wir keinesfalls nochmals machen (der gebuchte Bus war alt und der Fahrer extrem unfreundlich zu westlichen Touristen).

Pros:

Really good value for money and in a great location , our bus stopped right outside .we had a large room and a decent breakfast was included in the price. Shower was nice and hot and the staff were friendly. Nice food options nearby. The hotel had a little shop which was quite handy.I would reccomend this place to budget travellers.

Good value - ok for a few nights
Pros:

Staff are very nice, and for the price, it's very good, especially with breakfast included (although very basic). Also booked a tour from them to Paradise cave and Phong Nha cave, which was a good tour and fair value. It's not that comfortable, but OK for a few nights. Quite noisy from nearby noise (such as karaoke at night), and noisy pumps - but switch on the fan to drown out some of that! Bathroom is a wet room with shower near the toiler. 5 stars overall for value and especially the staff, but spent more if comfort is important for you.
