Kilkenny Inn

Lovely hotel close to all amenities. Clean, comfortable and good-sized room. Breakfast was delicious and staff were fabulous. Would stay there again.

Excellent breakfast really good variety everything cooked and presented very well, lovely staff especially Nial.rooms very clean (unfortunately my carpet had been burned by someone using straightners) otherwise everything was perfect. We were unfortunate that due to family circumstances we were there over a bank holiday so the Saturday Sunday room rates were quite expensive where as the Monday Tuesday were very good. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect to walk to all the sites and to many, many restaurants and pubs. The lobby and bar area are lovely. The room was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable. Shower water was hot and strong flow. I loved the toiletries, kettle, bottled water, and variety of coffee and tea options in the room. It was so close to everything! The staff were absolutely incredible! Excellent customer service and very welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Would not recommend staying here.
There was no hot water on the evening we arrived so we were not able to shower.
When we informed the receptionist (who came to the room to check) he shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do about it.
I am aware cold exposure is very popular trend these days but this is simply not good enough. Stay somewhere else.

My room was spotless and clean and comfortable. I had a kingsize bed and it was perfect. I could hear a few drunk people outside even with windows closed. Overall slept well. Breakfast was lovely & staff were all professional and helpful.

I highly recommend The Kilkenny Inn to anyone who visiting Kilkenny. It's a 30 bed property within walking distance to all city amenities. It's a modern, comfortable and impeccably clean property with private parking. Breakfast was excellent and we found the staff to be most helpful at all times. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Very clean and friendly, modern with everything I required. The only minor issue was Luke warm water for a shower in the evening.

It was a unique property. The bar was nice. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Appreciated the on site parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable experience.

Second time. As good as the first that’s why we came back. Brought my husband

Overall, the stay was very good. Though the hotel may be just off the main "tourist" areas, the walk to anything in town was only 5-10 minutes if that. Room was comfortable, clean, water was hot, all things you could want. Have no complaints and would definitely stay here again without hesitation. The only drawback I would say is that some, not all, of the reception employees where not always the most friendly.

My husband and I stayed in Kilkenny for 1 night and was surprised to find that this Inn was lacking in many ways. For example, there was only one available outlet in the room (unless you want to unplug the lights) and not even 1 in the bathroom. The bathroom sink had no hot water. There wasn’t any clock or alarm. The windows don’t close completely and the carpet was dirty. The bar in the hotel was completely closed. Needless to say, the pictures portrayed for this hotel are deceiving. We expected small and simple, but this is more like a budget motel in terms of class. Disappointing.
