Small and tired, but clean, safe, and good value
Pros:

We have stayed in many cheap hotels in London. We often come up for shows and events, and just want somewhere cheap and convenient to sleep so I don't have to drive back the same night. This is one of the very best we have stayed in, outside of the chains like Premier inn, etc. It has a number of the same issues with other cheap London hotels - no lift, and narrow stairs; carpets in a poor condition; small rooms. However, it had a number of positives. It is opposite a London square with trees and grass, so there is a pleasant ambience, especially if you get a front room. The receptionist is charming. The place is a little cleaner and better kept than average. There are beautifully framed Lowry prints everywhere, so it becomes a tasteful, uniformed theme. That makes a pleasant change from either no prints at all, or a mish mash of poor quality nonsense.
This is not a grand hotel, and certainly not somewhere to bring your partner or lover for a romantic weekend (the double bed was a large single, and the room is too small to feel that comfortable or relaxed, or to do anything more than shuffle from door to the bed and back again), but it has charm, is very cheap, is well located, and is clean, safe, and inoffensive.

Cons:

Great value for money!! Perfect little getaway
Pros:

Perfect view, cute bathroom- loved the doors. tall ceiling made the room feel so spacious. staff didn’t bother us which was actually the best part. Every hotel we’ve stayed in, we get staff knocking on the door early morning and rushing us out. Good value for money, the perfect little getaway. Perfect warm lighting options too! As an autistic person who is very sensitive to bright lighting, I loved the options to have the smaller lamps and lighting.

Cons:

No elevators, which can be annoying if holding heavy luggage. Also the bed was incredibly uncomfortable… the cotton inside the pillows were clumped together. felt like sleeping on a bag of rocks.
