My female partner hated the place but it's adequate for the average British male solo traveller.

Pros:

The hotel is in a safe, clean location and located very close to a train station which makes getting around very easy.

Cons:

The room and bathroom didn't feel clean, and the quality of the furniture was pretty poor. The bed was unstable and not very comfy; the room was pretty small and only just big enough for you to be able to lay your suitcases down. There is no lift, so we had to carry 2x 20kg suitcases up 3 skinny, steep flights of stairs, which was very hard and hot in summer. The whole hotel definitely needs a deep clean and refresh.

Your girlfriend might hate the place but the average bloke travelling solo will find it adequate
Pros:

It's a fact of life that reviews vary according to a person's specific expectations and standards. Bearing this in mind, I have split the review into two parts:
If you arrive at the hotel with your wife or girlfriend, expect 'to get an earful'. The climb up the stairs to the 4th Floor with a heavy rucksack; the tiny room at the end of the climb; the discarded radiator hidden behind the bed and the leaking shower base is bound to test her suicidal tendencies. HOWEVER, if you are an average British male made of sterner stuff, just looking for a shower, a comfortable bed and a convenient London location, you can't go wrong.

Bien situé par rapport où je voulais aller, quartier calme et personnel très sympa, situé pas loin du métro, assez propre et cours intérieure agréable
