Pros:

Établissement neuf. Chambre spacieuse digne un 5 étoiles. Beau jardin avec belle piscine. Superbe vue sur les champs et montagnes.
Petit déjeuner pas bon et petite quantité nous avons donc pas manger à l'hôtel le midi ni le soir.

Clean, comfortable, and helpful staff.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and we loved the location in the rice fields of Phong Nga! The owner provided bicycles for us to ride around the area for the day. It was too cold to enjoy the pool, but the communal area was nice. Would definitely stay again. (FYI, we were told that it's pronounced "She's Homestay")

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt in der Kleinstadt/ Dorf. Aber mit dem Fahrrad sehr gut in 5 min. zu erreichen und man hat so einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge und die Felder. Hier kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen.

Die Bananenpancakes waren klasse und auch die sonstigen Speisen beim Frühstück waren toll. Man kann hier Fahrräder kostenfrei ausleihen und diese sind in einem guten Zustand. Außerdem organisierte sie uns einen Roller und Iden Zug nach Da Nang.

Es ist eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft für einen sehr kleinen Preis. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen :)

Exceptional Homestay
Pros:

Really beautiful place to stay, just outside of the town (around 30 minutes by foot or a short cycle). This place has wonderful views of the national park entrance and surrounding countryside. Feels more like a 4 star hotel than a homestay. Staff are really friendly and helpful and offer bicycles free of charge.

Good place to stay, but slightly out
Pros:

Our two nights at Sy's homestay was delightful. The service was great with a smooth check-in plus he is happy to help you. The bonus is having a swimming pool as during the hot days and especially after a long day of trekking in the national park, it is a relief to cool off!
You're surrounded by nature with rice paddies and water buffalos ever present. It might be slightly out of the main action in town, but free bicycles from this homestay can get you there in 5-10 mins. Plus the quiet and serenity is what makes this place special. It was a pleasure staying at Sy's.

Note: the breakfast was good, but the dinner could be better.

The perfect place to stay in Phong Nha!
Pros:

Picturesque little Homestay with beautiful views! The team are lovely and incredibly helpful - they give you advice and went the extra mile for us. The rooms are very clean, the food was nice, the pool is an excellent touch as there are very few/if any hotels in Phong Nha even have a pool. If we were to visit again we’d 100% stay here. Phong Nha village is a 5/10 minute cycle away and the bikes are free. A little slice of heaven on the edge of the mountains!

Peaceful paradise in Phong Nga!
Pros:

What an amazing place to stay in Phong Nga! Gorgeous settings with pool and rooms overlooking the rice fields. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Free bicycles to cycle into the village (10 mins away). Definitely recommend!

Super comfortable - enjoy the nature

Sy's Homestay was a very comfortable and clean space to spend our time in Phong Nha. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a homely feel.

Our only (slight) criticism is that it isn't that close to anything, and getting to the Homestay would have been quite difficult had we not organized transportation from the Dong Hoi train station beforehand.

Sy’s Homestay was our favourite place to stay in Vietnam. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully designed. Great bathrooms. The people working there were all charming and hugely helpful. They arranged to hire Vespas for us. Great breakfast and the home-cooked evening meals were simple and delicious. Highly recommended.
