Good value and location; receptionist unhelpful in promoting Muar.
Pros:

Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. It is centrally located, with easy access and within walking distance to many interesting places and restaurants.

Cons:

I am satisfied with the facilities, as they are in line with the price. However, the receptionist was disappointing. As a local person, she should be able to promote Muar to outsiders like me, but when I asked for recommendations on the best restaurants and interesting places, she simply said that there was nothing special in Muar, which was not helpful at all.

A short stay for a regular customer but facilities and service need upgrading to stay competitive.
Pros:

The location, as always, was good. Right in the center of town, and easy to go to places. The indoor parking was good as it provided shelter from the hot weather. The room was not big but acceptable. Check-in was fast and without hassle.

Cons:

The room rate has gone up quite a bit. This is to be expected but then there has been no additional facilities. The room fridge has long been taken away. Maybe, the bedsheets need to be changed more often, as turnover is pretty high.
