Convenient location, spacious facilities, cosy vibe. A good spot
Pros:

The room was very spacious, the sofa next to the window made it very cosy!

Cons:

Checking in was quite confusing for me and another guest who happened to get there not long after I reached the property. The managers would make sure to answer my calls but there was quite a back and forth between me and them before I managed to get my key. I got help from both the Lonsdale guesthouse managers and the ones from the guesthouse next door (Lina's).
I'd suggest to update the info on Booking to make sure any new guests knows exactly what to expect / what to do to check in without any issues.

The hairdryer would wouldn't work properly - air would be mildly warm.

The main radiator in the room wasn't working, I managed to request (another series of back and forth calls) and get a bigger portable heater - there was a tiny one available already - but obviously it would struggle to heat up the whole room effectively.

I believe the discounted price should be the effective price, considering there is no breakfast included and given what I said above.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable and clean. Room was spacious and has modern furniture. Looked really cosy. Also, i liked that there was a microwave in the corridor and room was welll facilitated.

Cons:

Room was cold; there was only one portable heater and there is no parking. But beddings were really warm

Comfortable bed and clean white bedding and the friendly ladies in the Lina Guest House and the helpful man

Cons:

The window I couldn’t open so no fresh air. I drove passed twice as no sign Lonsdale only Acommodation ( nowhere else has such a sign). It made me very apprehensive as to what I had booked. About 6 phone numbers on the front door so phoned one of them and a man appeared from the next but one building (Lina Guest House which it seems is under the same ownership and same photos online). He was very helpful giving me parking space around the back

Enjoyable Stay and Accommodation in Summertown, Oxford.
Pros:

Ideal location for visiting Oxford city. Just a short and very frequent bus ride into the centre. Summertown is also a very pleasant area with quite a variety of shops and cafes only a short walk from the GuestHouse.
Accommodation was spotlessly clean, towels changed daily and a very welcoming greeting by the owner.

It was overpriced for what it was.

The bathroom was substandard and not properly equipped; the bedroom was dull; the establishment called itself "Bed and Breakfast" but offered no breakfast.

L’emplacement et le fait que l’etablissement dispose de places de parking.

Cons:

La propreté et le fait que dans l’une de nos chambres le mobilier etait défectueux.
- Sommier cassé : plusieurs lattes étaient manquantes (et nous les avons trouvées sous le lit).

Le prix est assez excessif par rapport à la chambre. Les murs sont du papiers il faut donc espérer que nos voisins de chambre ne fassent pas trop de bruit ou n’écoute pas la télé trop fort
