Ideal location for visiting Oxford city. Just a short and very frequent bus ride into the centre. Summertown is also a very pleasant area with quite a variety of shops and cafes only a short walk from the GuestHouse.
Accommodation was spotlessly clean, towels changed daily and a very welcoming greeting by the owner.

The bathroom was substandard and not properly equipped; the bedroom was dull; the establishment called itself "Bed and Breakfast" but offered no breakfast.

It was one of the hottest days in years and no air conditioner but fan.

Le prix est assez excessif par rapport à la chambre. Les murs sont du papiers il faut donc espérer que nos voisins de chambre ne fassent pas trop de bruit ou n’écoute pas la télé trop fort

No es un hotel. No tiene personal, tienes que llamar para que te den el código del cajetín de la llave. Solo tiene 2 plazas de parking y en el barrio no se puede aparcar.
The single room was at the top of the house and very hot but at least it had blackout blinds. They had a fan, thank goodness.
Check-in process was extremely poor. They’d made no attempt to make the single room look attractive. The shower room was unbelievably small.

The location was good.
My room was totally different than in the picture, the beds were old and damaged, the toilet seat was in horrible condition. Generally my room looks like it needs more attention to make it more pleasant.
The location is quite good, around a 30-minute walk from the city centre in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. The room was acceptable and met our basic expectations.
The staff were quite rude and unhelpful. We had specifically booked and prepaid for a rate that included breakfast, but were told on arrival that we were not entitled to it. Despite showing our booking confirmation, we were simply told to contact the property ourselves, which never responded to our calls or messages. We ended up paying for four breakfasts we never received. Booking.com later confirmed that breakfast was included in our reservation and offered a partial refund from their own funds because the property did not resolve the issue. This was a very disappointing experience and showed a complete lack of customer care.

There was an awful odour coming the from shower drain.
I booked this hotel and was then a little nervous reading the reviews. The hotel could definitely do with quite a bit of maintenance work, but it was clean and had what we needed - bed and bathroom. Parking was no problem and once there it is two minutes from the bus stop that takes you quickly and cheaply along the direct road into the city centre. Staff were excellent, arrived quickly when called to say we arrived and resolving issues when we initially were not recognised as having paid for breakfast. A good place to stay if you are visiting Oxford and just want somewhere to stay within a budget.
Decor, lots of maintenance work required, for example cracks and damage to the walls, damage to sink.
