Pros:

Compact room but had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the man who served us was exceptionally friendly.

Cons:

On arrival the bar staff were standoffish, no smiles or acknowledgement. The bathroom was freezing as the heated towel rail didn't work. WiFi was poor.

Pros:

This is an old traditional pub on the bank of the river Arun. Nice bar and restaurant. And plenty of car parking. A short walk from the town centre and close to the railway station. The food was excellent, but the best thing was the staff, all very welcoming and friendly. Certainly a place we would like to return there.

Lovely stay, just spoiled by noise outside, but they couldn't help that
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The food: evening meal and breakfast, were exceptional and the view from the dining area was lovely.
The shower was wonderful

Cons:

The only downside was that our room faced the railway station and trains were coming and going for what seemed like all night - they stopped between about 01.00 and 04.00 I think. The road outside was also very noisy - take earplugs!

Everything was great except the green light in the bedroom.
Pros:

Location was excellent for the river, beach, town centre and the yacht club where we were attending a party.

Cons:

The glowing green light in the bedroom which stayed on all night. VERY annoying.

I would return to the Arun Inn for a room at the back, the breakfast and the town
Pros:

Our room was at the back over looking the river. Away from the busy road. Also a whole floor separated us from the pub, so it was lovely and peaceful. The view was lovely. Littlehampton was lovely. The breakfast delicious.

I like a softer pillow
