Pros:

L'accueil a notre arrivée, personnels aimables et souriants. L'emplacement et le calme ( très reposant)
Les équipements : fauteuils relaxants, grande plages horaires des onsen.

Cons:

Difficulté à la réception pour se faire comprendre en anglais.

An authentic and memorable experience - worth a visit!
Pros:

Only a 15-minute walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the lake. From our family room, we had a spectacular view of Mount Fuji.

The kaiseki dinner in the evening impressed us with its variety. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor areas. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with limited English skills :)

Kawaguchiko itself offers plenty of things to do around the lake and Mount Fuji: cable car, boat tours, cycling, hiking… it can feel quite touristy at times, but you can still experience “real” Japanese life.

Cons:

The facilities and furnishings are a bit dated in places, which is something to keep in mind.

Important to know: limited flexibility for early departures. Breakfast is only served from around 7 a.m. Had we known this, we would have booked without breakfast as our train left earlier in the morning.

The tatami beds and pillows were (as expected) a bit firm, but that’s something you have to accept if you want the full experience.

Great location with tidy rooms and clean and relaxing onsen options.
Pros:

Quiet location within walking distance to train station and great places to get a view of Mt Fuji. The onsen was nice and had both indoor and outdoor options. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really close to a fabulous Indian restaurant.

Cons:

No towels in the onsen and added fees for each guest to use the onsen even if you didn't use it. Really tiny bathrooms that are a challenge for tall people.

Pros:

nous avons beaucoup apprécié la chambre très grande et lumineuse ( chambre rénovée par rapport au rez de chaussée de l'hotel).
Les bains sont aussi très bien.

Cons:

le prix du petit déjeuner et pas de choix, uniquement le petit déjeuner japonais est disponible.
la salle à manger n'est pas agréable, vieillotte.

Had a brief but relaxing stay at the hotel and enjoyed the onsen and spacious room.
Pros:

Staff spoke great English and were very accommodating. Check in and out were smooth and they allowed luggage holding until check in time. There was a QR code online guide in multiple languages and it was helpful. The onsen was excellent and the hotel provided all amenities associated. There was free coffee and soda. The room was large and had a nice window and excellent included toiletries.

Gute Wahl - nicht bereut - und das Onsen sehr genossen (abends und morgens)
Pros:

Highlight ist das im Hause befindliche Onsen (man muss eine kleine Tax bezahlen, aber keine weiteren Extragebühren an das Hotel). Relativ dicht am Lake Kawaguchiko. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal - angenehme Atmosphäre.

Japanin loman kohokohta
Pros:

Japanilaistyylinen huone tatamimatolla oli viihtyisä ja siisti, sekä henkilökunta oli hyvin avuliasta. Hotellin onsen ylitti odotukset. Sekä miesten että naisten kylpyalueilla oli sisä- ja ulkoallas, joissa sai rentoutua päivän päätteeksi rauhassa.

I would definitely recommend this hotel
Pros:

Can recommend this hotel. Onsite parking is an added benefit.
Pros:

Great location, the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The room was exceptional with extra futons for those of us old enough to need them. The restaurant was well catered with great Japanese breakfasts.
