Très bel hôtel à la japonaise
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé, à côté du lac.
Chambre dans le style japonais.
Le onsen est vraiment très agréable après une journée de visite.
Location de vélo à proximité. Restaurant à quelques minutes à pieds.
Shuttle gratuit vers la station de bus lors de notre départ.

Very clean, spacious room with own bathroom, comfy tatamis, good small indoor and outdoor onsen (public), free drink bar, convenient location that's in walking distance to the station (15 min) and close to the lake with some restaurants, cafés, stores, etc around, friendly staff

大浴場もゆっくり浸かり疲れ取れました✨

Cons:

お部屋も広いし綺麗でした、ベッド上の照明が眩しかった、消しかたわからなかったです。

Big room and interesting breakfast
Pros:

Room was big enough, with many nice features. All onsen eqipment was in the room. And they also had children shoes and bathrobe and washing supplies - very nice that they think about little guests too. Breakfast was super, very different one from toher Japanese hotels. Onsen was quiet, I had pleasure to enjoy it alone (other guests just left). Massage chairs was also nice extra to have. Hotel is close to the bus stop (Kawaguchiko Lake Red Line bus).

Cons:

They are strict about 15.00 check.in time. We arrived one hour early, and we didn't get the room, but we left our luggage to the lobby and when we game back, luggage was already in our room.

Pros:

Nice onsen, massage chairs, free soft drinks and prima location for getting around. The site seeing buses were very unreliable so we were able to walk to most places from the hotel.

Cons:

No views of lake or mt Fuji from the hotel, but we weren’t really there except to sleep so it didn’t matter.

Es war wunderschön.
Pros:

Wir haben das Hotel spontan gebucht und waren aufgrund des Verkehrs auf den Straßen viel zu spät. Trotz allem hat das Personal auf unseren Checkin gewartet. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und der Onsen war ein Traum. Wir konnten den mt. Fuji aus unserem Zimmer sehen und der See war nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt.

An authentic and memorable experience - worth a visit!
Pros:

Only a 15-minute walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the lake. From our family room, we had a spectacular view of Mount Fuji.

The kaiseki dinner in the evening impressed us with its variety. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor areas. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with limited English skills :)

Kawaguchiko itself offers plenty of things to do around the lake and Mount Fuji: cable car, boat tours, cycling, hiking… it can feel quite touristy at times, but you can still experience “real” Japanese life.

Cons:

The facilities and furnishings are a bit dated in places, which is something to keep in mind.

Important to know: limited flexibility for early departures. Breakfast is only served from around 7 a.m. Had we known this, we would have booked without breakfast as our train left earlier in the morning.

The tatami beds and pillows were (as expected) a bit firm, but that’s something you have to accept if you want the full experience.

Great location with tidy rooms and clean and relaxing onsen options.
Pros:

Quiet location within walking distance to train station and great places to get a view of Mt Fuji. The onsen was nice and had both indoor and outdoor options. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really close to a fabulous Indian restaurant.

Cons:

No towels in the onsen and added fees for each guest to use the onsen even if you didn't use it. Really tiny bathrooms that are a challenge for tall people.

Pros:

nous avons beaucoup apprécié la chambre très grande et lumineuse ( chambre rénovée par rapport au rez de chaussée de l'hotel).
Les bains sont aussi très bien.

Cons:

le prix du petit déjeuner et pas de choix, uniquement le petit déjeuner japonais est disponible.
la salle à manger n'est pas agréable, vieillotte.

Had a brief but relaxing stay at the hotel and enjoyed the onsen and spacious room.
Pros:

Staff spoke great English and were very accommodating. Check in and out were smooth and they allowed luggage holding until check in time. There was a QR code online guide in multiple languages and it was helpful. The onsen was excellent and the hotel provided all amenities associated. There was free coffee and soda. The room was large and had a nice window and excellent included toiletries.
