Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Nicolle who assisted us with a bathroom problem and gave us some recommendations for Santa Ana and surrounding. Good location, around 10 mins walk to the town centre, where one could find a wide range of restaurants and street food (and the Christmas market when we visited). Nearby bus stops to visit La Ruta de Las Flores with the chicken bus.

Cons:

We got a room facing the main street despite having requested for a quiet room in advance.
Breakfast was ok.

Pros:

Good location. Helpful staff. Comfy room. Good breakfast choices, though pigeons flying in were disruptive.

Cons:

Noisy at night with people outside the hotel talking loudly till all hours. On one occasion someone sat playing a trumpet on and off from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Madness!

Wifi was poor for a business hotel.

Business type hotel near old ciy
Pros:

Modern business style hotel within an easy walk of the central square. The actual location is nothing special but there are surprisingly good views from the upper floor terrace. The rooms are large and comfortable, good beds and showers. Secure parking available. Breakfast is good and is served quickly. Available early which is good for day trips like a volcano climb.

Small quality hotel in heart of Santa Ana
Pros:

Simple and quality hotel in heart of Santa Ana. Staff were really helpful and helped with an early check in as well as storing my luggage whilst I did the volcano hike. Nice breakfast and good sized rooms with comfortable beds. I only stayed one night but it was perfect for that!

Cons:

The property is on a road opposite the gas station so you do hear the noise throughout the night. If possible ask for a room not on the roadside!
