If you're looking for inexpensive, no-frills accommodations that are near the beach but away from the main pier, then give this place a look. The rooms are small, but the A/C works well. The breakfast that's included is a small bowl of soup with the option of crackers. I doubt I'd go back, but it wasn't a bad stay overall.
Great service and good hospitality
It was cheap and cheerful,, ideal for music and food.
Great and friendly host, the rooms are clean and nice.
It was ok but there are far better places. Small rooms and the breakfast was a joke. Nobody cleaned our room and it said daily housekeeping on the site. I hate to say it but I will not stay again. Rooms are tatty far from finished.
Close to beaches, 10 mins on a scooter. Bed was too hard for my taste, but it was clean. Room was a good size. I was put on the 2nd floor which meant stairs, no elevators. Price was higher then I expected, but for last minute booking, I went with it. Overall okay experience.

Very Friendly staff, the room was also comfortable. New motorbike for rent and free transportation to the ferry.
Nice place
On the plus side:
Nice and welcoming reception on arrival, room spacious and fairly clean. Breakfast is included (we haven’t tried it as it is served up till 10am).
A few extra points worth noting:
- We booked this hotel because we wanted to be close to Tawaen Beach. The hotels.com inbuilt map indicated a perfect location. Disappointing to find out it was actually 2km away from the beach, especially that we only stayed one night on the island.
- Bad odor in bathroom, seems the water in toilet constantly drains and thus smell of sewage goes up through the pipes.
- Power went off in the morning. It was back on after 20minutes or so.
Walkable from the main village where the ferry drops you off - naban - quirky little place with each room reflecting a football team - very friendly owner (gave us a lift to ferry) and good price - recommend it
