Great location and facilities. Very accommodating with our dog. Staff so friendly and helpful
Nothing not to like
Good selection at breakfast and catered for all our needs, nothing was too much trouble and served with a smile. Dinner choice was excellent, all home cooked using the using the best ingredients and good size portions.
Huge comfortable bed with proper linen sheets, bathroom very spacious with large walk in shower and bath tub. Portable air conditioning unit to help cooling the room when needed, tea making facilities and TV in room
All in all a delightful Inn with typical Cotswold features, lovely garden terrace and ample free parking on site
We decided to move to another hotel as this hotel was very disappointing! There was a party going on g in which we had been made aware of but were told it was between 5 and 7 pm. It was ‘free drinks’ for the locals as new owners had taken over. We accepted that but after 8 a live band started playing! The room was very small and ‘tired’. It felt grubby. We decided not to stay and went to another hotel.
The condition of the room and bathroom
Bar and restaurant were good. Staff pleasant.
The room was very small and uncomfortable for 2 people. It really is only for a single person. No where to put an overnight bag, stubbing toes on bed castors, hanging clothes on a peg like hanger. Bathroom was a good size. It did say it was a snug room but didn’t realise how snug.
The room was very comfortable, staff cheerful and very helpful and they were so kind to organise the onward shipment of a jumper that got left behind. Hope to do a return visit soon.
No problems
Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was great, breakfast had a lot of options.
Great location

Poached eggs were served solid!
Super friendly and accommodating staff, lovely food. Very clean and spacious room.

The coffee was nice and strong .
At breakfast there is a choice of 2 items full English or salmon and eggs - salmon had grey tinges and the brioche bun was cold.sausage was burnt .need to offer more variety.
No welcome from staff on arrival , very haphazard throughout stay.the room was small but in desperate need of a dust and a good hoovering.no toilet roll holder in bathroom just placed on cistern behind.
It is marketed as a 4 star but unsure how it got this rating , very overpriced for what it offers.
Location was brilliant for what we wanted to see.
The ceiling in the room has traces of black mould on the ceiling by the dressing table. The room had no shower gel & we had to ask for it.
The room was pleasant and we were able to open the window to allow fresh into the room
The food was good
And the staff were very friendly and willing to help if needed
The bed was quite firm and not terribly comfortable and there was a lot of dust lying on the lamps and headboard and also a lot of cobwebs hanging above the bed
The staff were efficient and breakfast was good. The Inn is situated in a decent location for visiting the Cotswolds.
It was late November and very cold when we stayed, so I would have expected that the staff would have made sure the bedroom/bathroom were suitably warm for our arrival. On inspection, we discovered the bathroom radiator was turned off and it was freezing in there ! Then when we ran a bath in order to ‘thaw out’ we found the cold tap would not turn on!!
Nice rooms and breakfast was good
It’s locked until 3 so if you arrive early you can’t get in. Not very welcoming , the restaurant is not open every night and the one night we ate there it wasn’t very good. Not so much as a biscuit in the room or treat for the dog. Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room. All felt as if saving money was the main aim not the guest.
