very friendly atmosphere. staff were very good
let down by breakfast which was totally inedible. took an hour from ordering to receiving and everything was burnt. nobody ate any of ut. we were given money off and the manager apologised profusely
The room was so lovely and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and they even provided us with a fan for the hot weather.
I believe we also got a free upgrade on the room which was a nice touch! 100% recommend staying here.
The only comment if any is that if you’re not into music/loud noises, you may struggle to sleep as this runs till about 11pm but we were downstairs in the pub until then anyway so didn’t bother us at all. Infact; the singer they had, Emily, was amazing!
Nothing to note. Everything was perfect.
Convenient location. Freya who greeted us was lovely and helpful; she is a real asset.
Limited dinner menu and we did not enjoy the breakfast (no fruit provided, no natural yoghurt , terrible coffee) nor the person who was supposed to be serving us.
Breakfast. Some of the other gusts moaned, but there was nothing wrong with it. The beer garden was ace. Staff were brilliant
Nothing
The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The evening meal was very good as was breakfast.
The bathroom was very well designed.
We had a go at their monthly quiz, which was fun and we didn't come last!!!!
The bathroom shower is a man's shower - i.e. a rain shower! Too high, fixed and not user friendly!
The room was on the road side and I am not used to road noise but that's not the Inn's fault.
Added touches in room of cookies and slow gin with eat me and drink me labels.
Nothing all good .
Character, clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Handy for sightseeing
No faults
Nice location and beautifully decorated room.
The property was very charming, lovely traditional features. Alongside some recently added areas. Garden was spacious and secluded. Ample comfortable room, with a clean bathroom, spacious shower.
Unfortunately one thing that let the stay down was the noise from the road. Being so hot on our stay. We needed the window open. The road outside was constantly in use by Lorry’s and general traffic. Which did seem to thunder on fairly late and start again early in the morning.
L’accueil, la gentillesse et la décoration. Tout nous a été facilité. Le personnel est charmant.
Le bruit de la route est très dérangeant quand on dort la fenêtre ouverte.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked into this lovely inn. We had a superb room with tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk available from the bar. Fresh cookies were an unexpected bonus.
Our evening meal was delicious. The apple crumble was one of the best we've tasted. The pasta dishes were vibrant and the perfect amount.
Good beer and excellent wine.
And all at a reasonable price.
Friendly staff, especially Ellie.
The menus for the evening meal were limited but the food was adequate and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good.
Very cosy
Steps
Great room, great food, excellent location.
Nothing.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal very good. Location. Generally very clean. Dining rooms/bar have nice atmosphere.
Small double room very small for 2 people, with very little space. Hairdryer but no mirror (?). Shower mat mouldy and needs to be thrown away or replaced.
Breakfast. Service was very slow. Food ok but limited choice. Cheap thin sliced bread for toast, expected better quality for price paid.
Perfect location and loved everything about our stay
