A wonderful experience all round. Excellent experience, Great people
Pros:

The property is located opposite lovely mountain and river views and has easy access from the main road. There is ample free parking and it’s very safe and secure. Inside the first feeling we got was that of warmth. As we walked through the doors we were warmly welcomed by Anna who made us feel at home instantly with her warm smile and chat. Anna, like all the other staff that we met on our visit, enhanced the experience and a great asset for any hotel to have.

The food was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. We tried 5 or 6 different items from the menu and they were all delicious 10/10. We ate in the bar where Micky the bar man looked after us all night and again made us feel really welcome and comfortable. A great character. There was a lovely fire lighting in the bar all night and the entertainment that came on “The Bedrockers” were absolutely fantastic. We sang and danced the night away in this fabulous bar surrounded by fabulous people, staff and customers alike.

We slept in the executive room and it was lovely. It was huge so you never felt on top of one another and it was spotless. The bed was a lovely queen size and super comfortable and the shower/toilet were again very roomy and spotless with a powerful shower and zero issues.

We had a wonderful breakfast in bed thanks to Laura, and lovely staff member who greeted us with a warm smile when delivering the breakfast which was again absolutely delicious. 10/10

Want a refund as shower n toilet didn’t work in morning … whilst getting breakfast they fixed it but was too late for me

Excellent for a short break.
Pros:

Lovely room which was spotlessly clean. Bar and restaurant area also very nice and food was excellent. The staff were really helpful especially the wee bar man who is a real credit to the hotel.

Pros:

Property was lovely . Rooms were clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful

Cons:

Bed wasn’t great too low down. Very noisy with traffic outside. Light over mirror was very dim .

awful.. avoid this place! must nicer hotels in the area offering similar room rates

the staff at the property where friendly and the room was warm

Cons:

the place was run down severely the wood was falling off the windows walls carpets stained, towels in bathroom had ground in dirt, there were coffee rinngs all over the bedroom furniture from previous guest very little attempt was made to clean, the beds were brick hard pillows not much better, prob the worst hotel i’ve stayed at to date and we travel quite a lot for work

Amazing staff team. Warm, welcoming and went above and beyond for us.
Pros:

The staff were so lovely and did all they could to help us out. They went out of their way to make sure we had a smooth stay. Can’t thank them enough for the care they took of us.
