We will never use booking.com again…
Pros:

The mint house was great. Minus the parking scam! We parked in a visitor spot our first night & got towed. Costing us $309 dollars! And then was told we have to park on the 6th floor. That would have been a valuable piece of information to know up front.
BUYER BEWARE!!!

Cons:

The booking.com scam. The guy I spoke to on the phone for 55 minutes was on the phone with the mint house staff and told her he was me!!! Fuck that guy! Booking.com will be hearing from my attorney. Sad but true! Scammers are like bullies and must be stopped at all cost!

A little disappointed this time
Pros:

Always stay here when in town for my doctor appointment at MDAnderson. Close to the hospital. Beautiful views & amenities. A safe secure place with good parking. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

This time we were disappointed in how the apartment was stocked. They always have had Mrs Meyers soap in bathroom & kitchen. This year had a glass bottle by both sinks that was unlabeled so wasn't sure what we were using. No dishwasher detergent. Deck was peeling paint so badly we didn't want to go out on it & track it back in. Deck needed cleaned.

Very close to the MD Anderson which was the objective of the trip, we are planning to be back soon, great place.

It was fine. But I wouldn't stay here again.
Pros:

The apartment was a good size and once I was checked in it was easy to navigate.

Cons:

I didn't love the remote management - there's no Mint House staff on site to accommodate requests like early check in, bag storage etc. Luckily the building concierge was kind enough to let me stow my bags in a lobby closet.
My biggest gripe is that my unit didn't have a balcony, but it was advertised as having one. The windows also didn't open so it was slightly stuffy. The bedroom TV remote also didn't work, which rendered it useless.
Lastly, you'll have to rely heavily on a car, rideshare and/or delivery at this location. I know Houston is not a walkable city, but it would be nice to be closer a coffee shop or even fast food options.

I recommend, as long as you're not into hours long showers
Pros:

The apartment was very big, felt like a breath of freshair.
I was on the 11th floor, so I had a great view, even if it wasn't facing anything incredible.
The outside jaccuzi and swimming pool, on the 7th floor, are nice after a long day, and not very used after 8pm, so it's calm!
Washing machine was working perfectly, it really helped.
The kitchen was perfect, the room too, and the living room as well.

Cons:

I didn't like the bathroom: the tub was hard to enter, and the showerhead was fixed. As a woman, this is horrible. The pressure was bad too.
And the worst, was the water temperature : you can't choose the temperature, and even when it starts getting hot enough, the temperature is changing every few dozens of seconds. I was unable to take any good shower.
