Tulen muistamaan hyvästä palvelusta
Pros:

Tämä hotelli jää ikuisesti mieleeni hyvästä asiakaspalvelusta ilman erillistä pyytämistä, henkilökunnan omaan tilannetajuun perustuen. Pitkä mies respassa oli todella omalla alallaan. Hotelliketjun muutospaineissakin palvelu kohdallaan, vaihdos tapahtui viikon matkan aikana, IBB Hotels Gdansk on nyt B&B Hotels Old Town. Miellän kuitenkin B&B Hotels-ketjun halpaketjuksi. Taso ainakin vaihdosvaiheessa edelleen hyvää turistitasoa. Jatkosta luulisin, että ainakin aamiaisen taso tulee laskemaan.

Neljännen kerroksen huoneesta näköala yli kattojen Kaupungintalolle ja Marian Basilicaan todella kaunis. Sängyt kunnon petauspatjalla hyvät. Oleskeluun kaksi nojatuolia ja pikkupöytä. Jalkalamppua kaipasi tämän ryhmän lisukkeeksi, nurkkaus pimeä. Tallelokero puuttui huoneesta. WC/suihku tilava, ei normaaleja homeenhajuja tai viemäritukoksia. Miksi vain yksi hammasmuki? Sisääntulossa kymmenen askelmaa, liikuntarajoitteiselle nousuun kuitenkin invatuoli. Kokolattiamatto. Äänieristys ulos hyvä, tunneittain moukuvat Marian Basilican kellonlyönnit eivät häirinneet. Siivous oli hoidettu joka päivä jo aamupäivällä.

Aamiainen tarjoillaan hotellin ylimmässä 5. kerroksessa, joten lisänä tarjona näköala kattojen yli. Pöydässä oikeastaan kaikkea mahdollista, muttei mitään erityistä. Lämpimien ruokien tarjoamisessa toivomisen varaa, kaikki puolihaaleaa jo avaamisen aikaan, paitsi viimeisenä aamuna, jolloin joku uudesta henkilökunnasta osasi käyttää lämpöastioita.

Cons:

Taksin saaminen hotellin sisäänkäynnille osoittautui ongelmaksi. Tullessa taksi toi Hard Rock Cafen kulmaan torin toiselle laidalle, lähtiessä sitä piti etsiä parin korttelin päästä. Hotellin sisäänkäynti Mieszcánska sivukadulla ei ole ajokieltoaluetta, mutta hotellin itsensä käyttämä osoite, jolla ei ole edes sisäänkäyntiä, Dlugi Targ 14/16 on. Taksin ammattitaidosta kiinni onnistuuko kyyti, meille se ei todellakaan onnistunut. Liikuntarajoitteinen ei tilaa taksia laiskuuttaan.

Hieno hotelli
Pros:

Sijainti loistava. Huoneet isonkokoisia. Hyvä aamupala.

Cons:

Mies olisi halunnut ostaa aulabaarista olutta huoneeseen, heiltä ei löytynyt sitä. Muistaakseni viime käynnillä pari kk sitten löytyi vielä valikoimasta.
