I'd stay here again.
Pros:

The hotel is on a main shopping street with lots of restaurants. The historic exterior of the building added to its charm. It's located close to the river too. The breakfast was excellent also.

Maybe you should take away on the TV screen that you provide water and juice to make us welcome. Nothing of the sort in the room.

Lokalizacja super, obiekt wygodny, ale obsługa nie zasługuje na 4****.

Położenie hotelu znakomite. Jedzenie dobre, pokoje czyste i wygodne.

Cons:

Moja ocena obiektu wynika bezpośrednio z oczekiwań, jakie stawia się przed hotelem o standardzie czterech gwiazdek. Niestety, w kwestii obsługi gościa i elastyczności, hotel rażąco zawiódł.
Do Gdańska dotarłem o godzinie 7:00 rano. Z ponadtygodniowym wyprzedzeniem kontaktowałem się z recepcją z prośbą o możliwość wcześniejszego zameldowania. Jako świadomy konsument w pełni rozumiem zapisy regulaminu – mam świadomość, że taka usługa zależy od dostępności pokoi i wiąże się z dodatkową opłatą, na którą bez wahania wyraziłem zgodę.
Mimo tak wczesnego zgłoszenia, pokój udostępniono mi dopiero o standardowej godzinie 15:00. Odniosłem wrażenie, że nikt z obsługi nawet nie podjął próby optymalizacji grafiku sprzątania, aby wyjść naprzeciw mojej prośbie.
Najbardziej rozczarowujący okazał się jednak fakt, którego byłem świadkiem około godziny 11:00. Na moich oczach obsługa zaproponowała wcześniejsze zameldowanie w pokoju tej samej kategorii innej osobie, która... nawet o to nie zabiegała i wolała poczekać do 15:00, nie chcąc uiszczać żadnych opłat. W tym samym czasie ja wciąż spotykałem się z odmową.
Sytuacja, w której gość proszący o usługę z wyprzedzeniem odprawiany jest z kwitkiem, a nieświadomy niczego klient otrzymuje ją „z urzędu”, jest po prostu kuriozalna. Świadczy to o poważnych brakach w logistyce, chaosie w zarządzaniu obiektem oraz niedostatecznym przeszkoleniu personelu. A wystarczyło po prostu ustawić kolejność sprzątania pokoi. Standard czterogwiazdkowy zobowiązuje do znacznie wyższej kultury organizacji. Obiekt nie zasługuje na 4****.
