Wohlfühloase mitten in Asu
Pros:

Ein wunderschöner Ort, fast wie ein botanischer Garten inmitten der Stadt. Man fühlt sich dort, wie in einer anderen Welt. Die Gärten sind so traumhaft, alles erscheint ein wenig aus einer anderen Zeit. Ich fand es wundervoll dort zu sein.

Cons:

Die Möbel in der Lobby müssten einmal ausgetauscht oder intensiv gereinigt werden. Oder die Polster gewechselt. Das ist in die Jahre gekommen und etwas abgenutzt und fleckig.

Un viaje al pasado, con todas las comodidades.
Pros:

El hotel en sí mismo es precioso, cómodo y tranquilo. Está a un paseo del centro, a unos minutos del shopping DelSol y la Galería y a 20 minutos del aeropuerto.

Además, el servicio siempre ha sido atento y profesional.

Cons:

Por suerte, no ha habido nada que no me gustara.

Für mich ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.
Pros:

Ein besonderes Erlebnis, altes Hotel im Kolonialstil, heutzutage eine Seltenheit, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail geführt. Man fühlt sich wie tropischen Wald durch die hohen schattenspendenden Bäume, die im Sommer ein Geschenk sind.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut und für diese Mischung gibt es von meiner Seite die Note 10

Frühstück könnte ein bisschen besser sein.

Cadre début 20eme siècle avec beaucoup de charme
Pros:

Le personnel est dans sa grande majorité très aimable, sympathique et prévenant. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Il mériterait à se renouveler de temps à autre. Le cadre est paradisiaque (verdoyant) si nous tenons en compte que nous sommes dans le vieil Asuncion…

Cons:

La piscine est trop souvent pleine de feuilles, en surface et au sol, mais c’est une belle piscine…

Un hôtel d’époque et un cadre splendide!
Pros:

J’ai adoré ce court séjour dans cet hôtel splendide d’une autre époque.
Les chambres sont très grandes et avec de hauts plafonds. Et du mobilier qui a gardé le charme d’époque.
Les jardins sont somptueux (bien que pas toujours niquel !) et verdoyants. La piscine est gigantesque, très bien située et ensoleillée en plein milieu d’arbres qui doivent être presque centenaires !
Beaucoup de passage car c’est un hôtel très grand donc selon où est située la chambre, il peut y avoir un peu de bruit.
Possibilité de manger sur place car il y a un restaurant et cela est très pratique.
Sinon avec un service de taxi on peut rapidement allé dans de très bons restaurants pas très loin.
Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et sous forme de buffet avec du salé, du sucré, des jus frais, des œufs sous différentes formes, et beaucoup de variété.
Vraiment, le cadre est incroyable et j’y retournerai sans hésiter.

Pros:

Beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff. My room was very spacious. The best was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The swimming pool was great.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. Maybe the location is a bit remote from the centre. But nothing a taxi cannot solve.

The hotel still hasn't processed my refund for the room downgrade or provided an itemised invoice.
Pros:

The Gardens are fantastic. Lots of places to sit and read or relax by the pool perhaps. There are one or two staff members who are really friendly and trying to make up for all the problems caused by the other staff who are not friendly and not honest and do not do what they say they will. Aaron and Carlos and Asensio were the stand-outs for me. Great at their jobs. Kind. Honest. They each spoke Spanish and at least some English.

Cons:

The restaurant is in an underground space where the million LED lights flash intermittently at different times from each other. The breakfast is mostly cakes and fruit with a few other things. You have to pay extra for an espresso. The dinner menu is a bit strange, some cheesy burgers and not much that I thought looked good and no changes are allowed. I had the feeling that several items were pre-made and then heated up in the microwave. The restaurant staff are unbelievably unfriendly bordering on rude. The airconditioners are set to 16degrees and it is absolutely unhealthy and freezing in there, as well as being unpleasant due to the flashing lights, the wicker placemats and often I was given a glass that was not actually clean. There was a receptionist, Sol, who appears all smiles and polite but actually does not do what she says she will do. She was half-way through booking a car for me for the next day and just left without finishing it or messaging me to let me know. I am allergic to the laundry detergent they use so I asked - at my expense- to wash the sheets in my powder, and then not to change the sheets. Sol Promised to let the Housekeeping know, but failed. Sol gives only partial addresses to the taxis so they get lost and drive you around town with no air con at 44degrees and when you come back or ask her about any of this she either denies it or says "oh". no responsibility taken for her incredibly callous and untruthful, incompetent approach to doing her job. Still to this day, two weeks later, the hotel has not processed my $500USD refund for the downgrade in the room, or provided an itemised invoice for the full charges, which I asked for at check out since one of the charges was wrong. Sol of course said yes she would print it but did not and she called Viviana but no refund was made an no attempt to make this situation legal. I don't know what to do about it except call the police.
