Element Houston Katy

Oh m g!! Our stay at the Element was phenomenal!!! I'm the bride, and I needed to find a hotel for our group to stay at for our local wedding. I wanted to find a hotel that was nice, but not crazy expensive, and the Element SURPASSED my expectations. I worked with Joselyn the whole time and she was amazing!!! Always responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect. She even got little goodie bags made for our guests with waters, a snack, and a drink voucher for the bar. As the bride/groom, we got our room upgraded as well and she left us a sweet basket and note. It was so thoughtful! The free breakfast was also divine!!! It included an omelet bar, yogurt, traditional breakfast servings, coffee, tea, etc. The central location was perfect for our stay as well and easy to find for guests. It was clean, and beautiful! I would highly recommend this stay for a one-off night, but especially for groups, because it was perfect!!!

The breakfast wasn't very good. It was better The last time I was there. I settle for cereal and milk. The sausage wasn't cooked well, the gravy was cold and biscuits were not great. The juice was fine. There need to be improvement. That's was I look for when I stay.

Breakfast was perfect, had different options. We stayed at the Katy location. The staff was very respectful, polite, and ready to help.

Hotel room was in serious disrepairs. Curtain rod missing and holes on the wall. Missing cabinet handles, black mildew on shower walls, toilet seat completely loose, bathroom water faucet loose and can not keep straight, and body wash soap bottle complete empty. Definitely not worth the price I paid for.

There was play space in the room but huge roaches came out the sink we had to move. Mildew smells. There was an old pull out couch that the kids were scared to sleep on. No sheets for it

My family was ill for most days whilst staying in the hotel. It appears as long as the AC was blowing allergies and illness came up. When we left the room we were ok.
Furthermore, we were charged for the complete booking although we checked out early and the front desk said we will not be charged after spending 6 rather than 7 nights.
We were advised that Marriot's new policy is that the complete booking has to be paid for regardless of checking out earlier.

Additionally, there is a high degree of misleading prices a nightly rate was initially booked but then after the bill was received, the rate increased each night.

Hotels.com provided no support to have the issue rectified.

This was in fact my 3rd stay at the Element sadly I am doubtful I will stay here again.

It was quite and clean but they did not have any mirrors out side of bathroom to use.
My room didn’t have a safe.

This hotel is fabulous! Check in was a breeze! They did put us in a room by the elevator but moved us without any problem. The one bedroom room was clean, and spacious. This has got to be the quietest hotel I've ever been in. The air conditioner worked great, maybe even too good lol. The bed and pillows very comfortable. I would have loved an extra blanket in the room. The couch was rather uncomfortable due to it being a sleeper, but it was fine.
The breakfast was good and plentiful.
The pool was lively, but could not stay out there due to smokers.
The staff was so happy and friendly. I recommend this hotel 100%

I truly enjoyed my stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The room was spotless, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. I loved starting each morning with their free breakfast—it was fresh, satisfying, and such a nice touch. The location made everything so convenient, and the whole place had a warm, inviting atmosphere. I’d happily come back again!
