The Bellman, Jhord-nily Savoir, was extremely helpful, professional, and handled all of our belongings with care! We appreciated his proactivity towards serving our family!
I recently stayed at the Dalmar in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel has everything you could need in one place from a great coffee shop to an incredible poolside bar serving delicious cocktails and fresh, healthy food. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is modern, upscale, and stylish, while still feeling comfortable and inviting.
The dinner service was excellent, and I especially loved the lounge-like ambiance with all of the sports games on. It creates the perfect setting whether you're looking to relax, grab a bite, or enjoy an evening out without even leaving the property.
What really sets The Dalmar apart, though, is the customer service. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond. The valet team was incredibly accommodating from the moment I arrived, and the front desk staff made check-in seamless and welcoming.
A special thank you goes to Ismail at the lobby bar, who absolutely made my stay memorable. He was friendly, attentive, funny, and had fantastic recommendations. The fun banter between him and his team made traveling solo feel right at home. His professionalism and genuine hospitality created that perfect balance of upscale service and warm personality. People like Ismail are what turn a great hotel stay into an exceptional experience.
I highly recommend The Dalmar to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, you'll find outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, and a team that truly makes you feel valued. I can't wait to return!
There’s so many great options to stay in this area, this is the last place I would recommend. Horrible valet service very odd connection with lower end hotel attached. The property is not very well taken care of many signs of neglect, especially in the common areas outside. On my last night out by the pool I was told that everyone had to be inside at sundown. Meaning no one can enjoy the beautiful pool after sunset. I thought that was really odd considering most properties selling point is enjoying time outside in their common area and pools what was really odd is that upon check-in? I went to work out at the gym and through the window. I saw a table outside with a full plate of dirty dishes, glasses, etc. 48 hours later all those dishes were still sitting on that table outside. Which made me wonder why they’re making everyone leave the outside areas when they have no idea about what’s happening throughout the whole property. As a titanium member they’re just way too many options in this area that take good care of Bonvoy elites. There’s not one redeeming quality than whatever bring me back here..
Wonderful experience and cocktails. Ismail was pleasant and engaged us in wonderful banter. He remembered me from last year. The ambiance of the lobby is spectacular as well. But what truly sets this place apart are the people - the bartenders and the servers. That’s where Ismail shines.
Had a great time at the bar with Ismal
Ismael from the bar was so nice and inclusive. He was so kind and welcoming making sure we had a lovely evening.
Ismael was amazing! He remembered us from our last visit over 7 months ago. 100/10 service highly recommending to all friends and family.
Everything is extra, parking, "resort fee", breakfast, etc so the room ends up costing at least 20-30% more than what is on the reservation. And then it turns out that a simple breakfast: small oatmeal, omelette with hardly any cheese (and terribly presented) plus coffee is almost $50!!!!!
Really???? We need some honesty in the rates. Where's the resort here? You have a pool and a gym, that's pretty standard, so what's so special to charge me extra?
Definitely goes on the black list
Ismail was fantastic…could not have asked for a better first evening…look forward to the rest of the week here!!
This property is beautiful! Ismail at the bar was wonderful and very helpful.
We loved the bar person Ismal. He was so friendly and made us a wonderful drink.
We had a great time to ralk to him. We will come back again
Best espresso martini with Ismail! He and Paula made me feel like an icon. Amazing service, great conversation, and a truly memorable experience. As a first-time guest and solo traveler, I felt right at home. Thank you both, I’ll definitely be back!
The location
The hotel is over sold on quality. My room was dirty, floors were sticky and corners of the room you could see the dirt. The bathroom door handle was missing, yes missing. The tissue box had several tissues in it and no replacement.
They also required a $35 resort fee a day which is not clear when booking.
Overall very disappointed.
Ismail was great! So kind and helped with my meal choices. I will come back!
The 3-star is because of Kelsey saving the day…it would have been one…she greeted us and was absolutely delightful…the other members of the staff did not give the same warm reception. She is wonderful. Go see Kelsey at the lobby check in…she is joyful, and lovely.
Kelsey and Robert were excellent in the service they provided. The both of them definitely went above and beyond during my Family stay!
We stayed here for one night prior to boarding a cruise the next day. This hotel was selected by our travel agent. Our room included a small kitchenette with a refrigerator whose compressor came on multiple times during the night and was very noisy. The bathroom was nice but not much counter space, and of course poor lighting which makes it hard to put on makeup. There was not a lounge chair in the room, just an uncomfortable stool. The beds were comfortable but they apparently don’t use fitted bottom sheets so you get to wrestle sheets….come on management but fitted sheets! The free breakfast was just ok…eggs were cold, but service was great.
Just stayed at the Delmar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale and WOW — this place is pure luxury. From the design to the atmosphere, everything felt elevated and stylish without trying too hard.
The real standout though was the staff. Kelsey at the front desk and the tall Hispanic gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Alejandro 😬) were beyond accommodating the entire stay. Always smiling, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Customer service like that makes all the difference.
The rooftop bar, Sperro, was such a vibe — beautiful views, great atmosphere, and perfect for drinks at night. Also, shoutout to the Turkish bartender at the lobby bar for making amazing drinks and being incredibly accommodating and personable.
If you’re looking for a luxe stay in Fort Lauderdale with great hospitality, this is absolutely the spot.
Yes, I stayed at element Hotel in May 2026 with a best friend and my stater was amazing the Bellman : Savior Jhordnily was so helpful for our luggage and able to assist us with valet services and assistance with finding restaurants within the area
Ismail was fantastic behind the bar. Would recommend to any folks in the area to stop in or if traveling and staying in either hotel brand, no need to leave the property for a good drink and nice atmosphere.
