Renovation Period: 13 November 2025 – 31 January 2026
Amari Vang Vieng will undergo light refurbishment to offer guests an even more comfortable experience. The project includes upgrades to wardrobes, luggage racks, work desks, and mini-bar counters in Superior Rooms.
All restaurants, the FIT Center, and most public areas will remain open. Work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., with limited noise from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Location great. Friendly staff even if bit pushy to sell.
Lovely sunset view from the pool area.

Cons:

Location getting old and shows his signs in room, bathroom etc. Also this is lower quality than other Amari hotels, even with the other one in Laos in Vientiane.
Also huge empty space in room and no small sofa or nothing.
Careful also, riverview does not mean you look right at the river, might be sideways!

Wonderful
Pros:

The view from the room facing the river and mountains is magical. The beds are very comfortable.Breakfast buffet is wonderful and starts at 6.30 am.Swimming pool overllooks the beautiful mountains, great location.Amari location is very close to multiple restaurants,also very close to pier from where you can take long tail boat rtides along the Nam song rtiver

Cons:

There were too many mosquitoes,u can see them flying outside the windows,even while having breakfast,can see them outside the windows..

great view (west side) ; stylish lobby (when table lamps switched on).
Pros:

view over mountains, large swimming pool, courteous staff .

Cons:

air con : no remote control, you have to go at the door ; vast lobby, full of stylish table lamps, but never switched on (even after mentioning it to staff)... gives an unfortunately bleary atmosphere.

Our stay at the Amari was exceptional
Pros:

View, room,breakfast and pool were excellent! The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is well located, clean and has the best view~~

Cons:

Sy is an excellent concierge, ensuring we had everything we needed including booking activities, arranging transport and events.
