Quite clean and the onsite staff were friendly and helpful. Close to Tamarindo but far enough away to feel tranquil.

The large covered patio with table, chairs, hammock, and fans is really nice to have, especially during rainy season.

Eduardo, the on-site staff, was helpful and kept everything in good order.
The smaller fan on the patio was old and loud, but necessary to keep the mosquitos at bay.

Casa Sueca is without a doubt the ideal place to relax. It offers total comfort, the staff is very professional, the pool is beautiful, the guests are very friendly, and there is a great sense of peace.

Nos instalaron en la habitación equivocada, nos hicieron mover todas nuestras cosas después de instalados, nadie nos atendia ni teléfonos ni wassap nada. La piscina sucia, y la habitación no era como en las fotos. Me arruinaron mis vacaciones. Y sin WIFI los 4 días pese a que reclame en varias ocasiones aun espero que me contesten.

Property was lovely. We were on the ground floor, which was awesome, as we do have some mobility issues, and the pool was literally outside our door.
Access to beach was incredible.
Loved that we could safely drink the tap water and appreciated them having a pitcher of cold water in the refrigerator when we arrived.
Our only REAL complaint about our room, was that the fitted sheet on the bed would not stay "fitted" and made sleeping sometimes a little uncomfortable as it kept slipping and the mattress protector was plastic and was not really nice to sleep on.
The road to get to the hotel was horrible, but we knew ahead of time, and were prepared.

Location was perfect for us. It was a short walk to the beach or town without being too close to crowds. Loved the landscaping, view of pool from our deck, our own private hammock and table to eat outside or in. Beautifully remodeled room! Staff was attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again! Loved it!

Location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach. The view from the private lanai is spectacular, and having a private covered area made the rainy time pleasant. The staff and owner are all so friendly and caring. The bathrooms and showers are decadent!
I love to cook, so a little more counter space in the kitchen would be lovely, but what was there was usable and appreciated.
The apartment close to the beach, and not in the center of Tamarindo, but walkable to the center in 10-15 minutes.

Poor check in instructions. Code for room never received and we waited 45 minutes for someone to contact us with the code.

We booked two rooms. The large house is absolutely stunning. Each separate apartment has its own character with interesting decorations, neat wood furniture, and private patios. The patios overlook a beautiful garden and the pool. We spent a lot of time in the hammocks and at the patio tables. The rooms are quiet - it seems as if the building is very good at reducing noise levels. The location is superb - a quiet neighborhood, the path to the beach across the street, and just down the road a few minutes is the path to Playa Langosta too. Couldn’t get any better. So thankful we were able to stay here. The staff were amazing and friendly. They helped me work on my Spanish conversation skills and the property manager helped me out on a couple of issues (self-caused issues like me forgetting my room passcode).
I can’t think of anything I really didn’t like…
