Location. Car park. Friendly staff
Freeley / internet TV constantly dropping out. Some plug sockets didn’t work. Fixed shower head so low on wall, had to be a contortionist to use it. We didn’t know when we booked months ago, but unfortunately the England Ghana World Cup game was on the night we stayed (one overnight to get an early morning Euro train), so there were a number of inebriated ‘supporters’ giving their opinions until the early hours, outside the building. Nothing the Swan could influence, but made our sleep impossible, that combined with the extreme hot weather didn’t help. The pedestal fan in the room couldn’t cope.
Location was excellent!
No air conditioning, bathroom was tatty.
Everyone and everything were brilliant, location, parking, staff, were all amazing!!
The only issues we ran into, no access to a fridge/mini fridge. We were staying with 2 children under 2 and didn’t have anywhere to store our milk. The other was the manager decided to change the code to the door of the night entrance without letting us know (we were told by one of the housekeeping staff it had been changed). Luckily my wife was able to come down and open the door
Location to wedding venue was good.
Very basic room, too much noise from the high street. No hot water and no bath towels.
All good
To be fair this property was booked in error and I thought we would be staying at a better property down the road. I liked that there was free parking behind the hotel. I liked that the receptionist carried a heavy bag to our room.
I felt as if I was about to fall out of bed all night long. The shower cabin was cramped. There was loud music coming from the bar until quite late. There was a loud fan noise, from outside the room, all night long
It was a nice area and the staff were lovely
The room wasn't very clean. I had to buy bleach wipes to redo the bathroom and the towels and bedding had a very marks on them
The restaurant
I am used yo s Kong dude bed
This was a double
Very friendly hosts and good location. Cheap.
Not clean, no hot water, strange leaking from the roof
I booked it on behalf of my elderly disabled grandparents. They said the beds were comfy and it was pretty central.
The man in the bar was useless. I helped my grandparents into the hotel, was going to help them take their stuff upstairs before they left as the are unable. The man insisted I leave and he said he would help them. He did not, they had to struggle alone. I didn’t expect him to help them as I was willing to but he made it clear he didn’t want me to and he would. My grandad can’t walk far and was forced to go out the back as they refuse to open the front door. His insulin was also out of the fridge the whole weekend as he said the staff weren’t helpful. The sink was also blocked. As a whole I was very disappointed about it however they did enjoy Hythe despite the rude staff.
Einrichtung des Zimmers, Frühstück ok und Bett bequem
Dusche in der Badewanne für Ältere nicht geeignet
It's a pub restaurant and hotel has a bar pool table. Rooms are clean and have tv and tea and coffee good location in Hythe.
Great little hotel and restaurant with a very good bar
Location good and the surrounding area was pretty
Hotel was tired, very tatty and in places not clean. Shower did not work, room was dark & dinghy
Good location, beds were comfortable, room was clean ideal for one night when catching shuttle
Water didn’t drain away in the sink. Loud music until 11pm. Car park wasn’t easy to find, had to park up and ask at the hotel.
Location in town centre is good
Lots of plugs in room dont work, the showers in 2 of our rooms did not work, and 3rd room, only hot tap worked, so no control on temperature in shower.
1 room was dirty.
