The attached restaurant food was outstanding - some of the best Asian food tasted! Good sized bedrooms.
The bar area is soulless- not cosy or welcoming. Geared towards sports television. Small bed.
The location of the hotel is excellent if you're intending to visit the town of Hythe. The hotel had parking and we managed to secure a spot here which was extremely useful.
The room was clean, well appointed and the bathroom was in very good condition, and the shower was hot and relaxing. The WiFi worked, but we didn't use the TV, so cannot comment on this. The hotel was quiet at night considering it was Easter Sunday.
If I am honest, the bed was a little too small and the mattress was very uncomfortable. I suffered from quite a bit of back pain in the morning from a night spent on that bed.
Added to this, the council bin collection at 5am on Monday morning, where the empty bottles were collected, was something of a rude awakening as well, but probably not the fault of the hotel!
Helpful staff and good location.. We were on a cycling trip and the hotel were great securely storing our bikes.
The facilities were basic, particularly the bathroom, which needed updating. It was fine for our purpose and length of stay.
The shower didn’t work, and the lamps didn’t work.
Location, room was a good size. Gentleman who checked us in was very helpful
Very very loud & heavy music in the bar meant you couldn’t hold any real conversation ( which fortunately couldn’t be heard in bedroom) charger £18 for two of the little bottles of cheap prosecco , I thought that was astronomical ! there was a very strong smell of bleach in the hotel area ( not necessarily a bad thing ) but the bin in our room was full from previous guests so did make you question the overall care to hygiene.
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was okay. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Location was good and value for money was excellent.
Breakfast was okay but could have been a little hotter.
How close it was to the le shuttle
The shower didn't work .. literally dripped out freezing cold and there were pins hanging out of the skirting boards. Needs a lot of tlc for the price
Staff were good, toilet/ bathroom floor was on a lean
Breakfast good
Shower needs updating
Great location and friendly host. Room was simple, clean and had everything we needed. The resturant downstairs was lovely and pub below shut dead on time. Very nice to have the pool table accessible!
It was extremely difficult to find and parking whilst achievable was very difficult. We phoned to ask about evening meal but no answer. On entering the room in March, the window was open and the room was freezing. Two lights ( one in bathroom over sink and one bedside light) failed to work. The staff member was polite, and carried our bags, but did not really introduce himself. The pounding music from the bar kept us awake which was not welcome after quite a long drive. Definitely not restful.
Sad we don’t get away often these days and this was not a great start. Not best for “ Le Shuttle”.
The staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food I the restaurant was delicious.
As midweek and flexible it was great to find a car park space
