Nice sized room; great breakfast; old stained carpet; noisy air conditioning; comfortable bed

The property is in a nice quiet area of Nipawin. The property needs some updating and specifically the heating/air unit in our room was terribly noisy.

Decent place to stay. Could use a few upgrades (carpets, beds) as it is apparent nothing has been done in that regard for quite some time.
But it was reasonably clean and convenient. Highly recommend the golf course. One of the best I’ve ever golfed.

It was in a very quiet area which was nice. The carpet in our room was stained and could have used a good shampooing. Bathrooms didn't have any racks to hang wet towels. Plug in bathtub didn't work well so couldn't enjoy a bath. Continental breakfast was okay but could have had some baked goods as well, muffins maybe. Wanted a coffee but there were no cups.
We would stay there again though.

So close to other places

They double-booked so 9 women showed up at the hotel with no rooms. They did a great job of finding us an alternative reservation that worked though, so they are forgiven. It would have been awful if they hadn't. Thank goodness the cabins at a nearby lake were available and were a reasonable rate.

It was very disappointing that guests were asked to pay $1 for a bottle of water when there had been no waiter available for the entire day after 11 am . We appreciate repairs were likely necessary but only had notice the day before and the repairs took much longer than expected .
Need to be more guest friendly

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Quiet. Breakfast very good. Very reasonable prices. Pop machine not working but not a big deal.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good …. Toast, waffles, eggs, juices, etc. would stay again.

I asked other guests we knew that stayed there this weekend and they all had the same experience.
No hot water, it was pretty much luke warm. And rooms were stifling hot even though heat was off. Ours was 86 degrees when we checked in. The fan was extremely loud. So you either have a restless sleep because fan is to loud or because room is to hot.
We had to watch when we came or left as door never latched properly.

Clean and the beds were super comfortable. We had some people staying next door that were quite noisy, had to call front desk and they delt with it right away.

The people were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was a bit dated. However, given the location and the current COVID-19 situation, I completely understand. Hopefully, this pandemic will ease up so that cash flow will allow them to do a few upgrades. There was no TV service in my room. I didn't complain since I had my own device and Wi-Fi was free. I did mean to mention it, but forgot. Breakfast was tasty. It would have been nicer if the omelette recipe was changed daily as I am not a fan of the "western omelette". Still, given all that, I think this is a great place to stay.

I’ve stayed her numerous times for work and Northern Greens Resort staff have been amazing every time. They are so accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good stay. Always happy to be returning!

Carpets were very stained and room smelled like it had 39 years of cigarette smoke that was imbedded in everything. Staff were helpful and friendly and we appreciated the breakfast.

When we went to have breakfast there wasn’t any coffee or hot water for tea. No waffle mix for waffles wasn’t not kept up very well
