Le personnel a été adorable. Machi, pour le petite déjeuner, était aux petits soins avec nous. Ces collèges à l'accueil ont été super-disponibles aussi.
L'entrée, au rez de chaussée, est d'une tristesse. On se demande où on est ? Et l'ascenseur est d'une lenteur épouvantable.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the property overall was well maintained. The Wi-Fi was very fast, although it required frequent re-entry of credentials.
The property does not qualify as a hotel; it is essentially a standard bed and breakfast in both layout and shared spaces. The staff was not attentive or friendly, and the reception area appeared disorganized, with an unprofessional attitude overall. The process for requesting and receiving the invoice was cumbersome. I had to wait about 20 minutes before someone arrived at reception. I stayed in a room near the kitchen/breakfast area, which was very noisy, and I was frequently woken up early as guests began having breakfast. The breakfast itself was minimal, with extremely limited options. There is also little privacy, as all guests share a single long table. This setup is not clearly communicated on the website, and no photos are provided to reflect it. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, especially considering the high nightly cost.

Me and my wife had a really lovely stay overall. The customer service was excellent—everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout. The location is fantastic: very close to the train station and central attractions, yet just far enough away to remain peaceful and quiet.
The room itself was a highlight—very large and spacious, with a beautiful design that feels distinctly Italian. The furniture and décor were charming, and the fresco-style ceiling added a special touch. The bathroom was also impressive, especially the large bathtub, which was very relaxing. Our room faced the inner courtyards garden, making it even more peaceful.
A particularly thoughtful touch was that we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of wine and some small biscuits waiting in the room—such a lovely gesture. Another detail I really appreciated was that each day they replenished two still waters and two sparkling waters in the room’s mini fridge free of charge.
Breakfast was another great aspect. The breakfast room is small and intimate but very pleasant. The staff were attentive and offered made-to-order eggs and hot drinks, alongside a nice selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, fruits, breads, and delicious homemade cakes.
The bed was a bit on the firm side for my preference, and there were occasional issues with water pressure in the shower. As the building is old and historic, this is somewhat understandable, but still worth noting. For the same reason, the lift is quite slow—though it does work reliably and is definitely appreciated, especially when traveling with luggage.
The air conditioning was unfortunately not the best, as it took quite a while to warm up the room, which was necessary as the nights got chilly. That said, the hotel does provide an extra blanket in the wardrobe, which was helpful. I also mentioned this at checkout, and the staff said they would look into it.
Even with these few small points, this was a charming and comfortable stay in a beautiful historic setting, with excellent staff and a great location. We would happily stay here again.

Ganhámos água para beber todos os dias no quarto. Café ou chá tb fica no quarto para quem quiser.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und fussläufig zu allen Hotspots. Tolle Trattorie und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ideal für einen Städtetrip. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend.
Der Frühstücksraum war etwas klein….Angebot der Speisen und Getränke war aber ok.
Hotel bem localizado, próxima a tudo, restaurantes, mercado, e avenidas principais, de frente tem a janela pra pedir vinho, como é em um avenida, de madrugada faz um pouco de barulho, mas quem tem sono pesado, vai conseguir dormir tranquilamente. Café da manhã muito gostoso, e com opções de omelete, ovos.
