Staff
Central location (city centre, above Irish themed bars so it's noisy...bring your ear plugs)
Large room size
New modern shower room
Ventilation from windows that can be opened ( most can't in hotels which i can't cope with).
No slamming internal doors.
Small TV
Very clean
Noise from the bars (even though we were on the top floor!)
No curtains
Nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom
No hairdyer
Bed side lamp not working and taped over (yuk!)
Too early check out for a city hotel.
Couldn't get the heating working
Creaking mattresses
The staff , clean , confortable
How very central it was to shops and bars.
Ideal for a group of friends to stay as 4 can share a room 😊
It didn't bother me but we had an room above the front of the bar below, so if you are not there to go out drinking/socialising it might be too noisy, you would be better to request a quieter room 😊
Close to train station and central
Could have been cleaner. Had a small green light on in my room all the time and although asked at reception about trying to get it turned off nothing got done and wasn't able to be moved to another room as full (it lit up most of the room).
Room was lovely, great location in the centre.Bloke on reception was very helpful too.Great stay.

The hotel was, as the name suggests, central and the facilties were good, staff friendly and my rooms (see below) were nice and clean
After I checked in, when I went to my first floor room, I could hear music, so asked to be moved and was allocated a smaller second floor room, with the staff member informing me that I would still be able to hear the music later on, and offering me earplugs. I hoped she'd be wrong as the music wasn't hugely loud at that stage. However on my return, the music had been ramped up and continued until 1am. Unable to sleep, I then read the reviews in more detail and it seems that this is a known problem. The reviews also mentioned the issue with beer kegs early morning and, sure enough, the crashing woke me around 7! I would not consider staying here again, as a good night's sleep is not possible there, which is a shame as the location, facilities and staff are spot on. When I mentioned at reception that I hadn't slept well due to the noise, I was informed that it said about that online, especially at the weekend. I did not see anything to this effect online. I was there on a Tuesday so dear knows what it would be like at the weekend!
Fantastic city centre location.
Beds very hard and uncomfortable.
Very noisy at night due to location .
Bedroom carpet badly stained.
Stairs to reception very long and steep. (Was made aware of this afternoon booking)
Staff were so good
The loud music from pud down stairs
Helpful staff
Was very happy with the upgraded room and the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile carrying my suitcase to the top floor for me.
No breakfast available.
The hospitality was great, kind staff and cosy well decorated rooms. Loved the Picture of John Lennon in our room. Loved how the hotel has an entrance right in the back of the pub below it.
Those stairs, those stairs!!!!! But they were worth it.
