A well hidden location away from the busy city centre with easy access to a beautiful beach and close to a amazing mosque where prayer is offered five times a day. Welcoming staff and a quite feel that enables you to relax and enjoy the peaceful side to the UAE. A good price for basic needs and helpful staff with a polite work force running the hotel.
Leider konnte das Hotel durch eine sehr unfreundliche Dame am Empfand. Roten Flecken auf dem Bettlaken und eine sehr dreckige Dusche ohne Wasserdruck nicht überzeugen
We booked our stay with them, it was horrible hotel. Very noisy AC, beds are brick soild and bathrooms don't work properly. The communal area was very dirty! Avoid especially during these covid times, I didn't end up staying there after check in as I had had alot of concerns and the staff was unhelpful. Apparently told by staff these brick mattress was for Russian travelers, if you are not Russian you will be unwelcome. I am sure Russian people probably wouldn't want there. Don't waste your money, you will be dissapointed.
we stayed for 10 days. the hotel is new, clean, neat with decent guests, mostly tourists couples. Its a little shabby area around but we found good restaurants in sharjah and its all fine. the parking is outside on the sand. its close to the sea and you can have nice sea view if you choose that side. personnel speaks russian.
I work in a tourism agency and one of our guest was staying in this Hotel ( Royal Hotel Sharjah).
I called the receiption to connect me to room ( that was booked under customer name) I informed the receptionist about their name even without listening the full name he started to say no we do not have any booking at the same time he was talking with someone else while I was on the call with him ( is he a Machine he was not answering me) ? I asked him about his name he said “WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH MY NAME” ?
Then I asked him to transfer my call to your senior he transferred my call to Account Department Really ? Thats how you respond to the customer?
Thats was a really bad customer service and We do not expect these kind of Behaviour from the Receptionist they should be professional in their Work.
I was amazed at first with the rate of this hotel's standard room so I booked it.
Photos on a booking site was superb although it's 3 stars only, but reality was less.
I convinced myself it was good because it looks homey and sheets looks new but whenever I remember how rude their receptionists were, just gave me a reason not to come back again.
One arabic receptionists told us that even 1 day old baby needs an I.D and he was serious. Can a 1 day old baby possibly be in a hotel? Or in the hospital I thought.. You cannot throw a joke to a fasting person like that 5 minutes before she break her fast and drive 2 hours to reach your location. Isn't that a very good welcome from a receptionist whom you expect to give you a smile than an arrogant treatment. Another lady receptionist also was so impossible that she ran to us outside the hotel's rocky and dusty entrance/parking to ask for 20 dirhams charge for what she says a lost key card that we left in the room (card keys are free now).
I could've right good reviews for this hotel although they don't provide not even complimentary bottles of water if their rules are reasonable and their staff were well trained to be friendly to their guest.
