Family Hotel Agoncev

La struttura è nuova e la stanza davvero graziosa. Purtroppo per due volte abbiamo fatto la doccia con acqua tiepida e visto le temperature basse non è stato piacevole. La colazione è servita e pressoché salata, essendo italiani non ci ha entusiasmato.

El hotel esta muy bonito decorado. La señorita de la recepción super amable, llegamos muy temprano y nos acogió como en casa. Al contrario de la mesera del restaurante cuando partiamos muy mal encarada.

Leider hat das am Hotel befindliche Restaurant Kanal Rücksicht auf die Gäste des Hotels genommen und abends um 23:30 Uhr noch die kompletten Tische verrückt und einen Lärm gemacht, als würden sie eine Wand aufboren. Die Lage an sich ist in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Leider sind die Fenster nicht gut isoliert. Man hört jedes Auto und jeden Fußgänger, der sich etwas lauter unterhält.

Hotel is recently remodeled and in excellent condition. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good. There were numerous restaurants within walking distance, including Vitosha Blvd. There was a nice patio with one of the rooms. Excellent stay.

Very dirty, you cant take your shoos off. I’ve seen two Bugs on bed. Had to book another hotel and Left the hotel same night as it was disgusting! Owner was not bothered to put me in different room but i think it would be the same! Avoid!!!

Cute little family hotel near NKD had nice staff, decent breakfast, and good AC. About 10 min walk to Vitosha Blvd and to subway. Neighborhood isn't anything special but is safe. Good value for money.

It is a small hotel run by unprofessional staff. The rooms comfortable and well furnished, but noisy! Good breakfast. Terrible front-desk service. Even though it is located in the centre of the city, there is no good places on walking distance.

We had a nice stay at the Family Hotel Agoncev - the staff were friendly and approachable and the room was lovely and comfortable, with a wet room type ensuite with great shower. It's in a great location close to the city centre (just 10 minutes walk).

Room not serviced daily as per the policy.
Breakfast poor. Stewed, cold coffee. No fruit.
Only omelet available for coeliacs. Fine for one day, not four.
One very rude staff member. Others, especially night shift very pleasant.

The hotel was perfectly adequate for an inexpensive Hotel in Sophia close to the city center. I would say it was very good value for the money.

The Hotel Agoncev is located in a residential area, but close to the vast National Palace of Culture and Sofia's main shopping and dining street, Vitosha Boulevard. Although the neighborhood is a bit run down, everything about the hotel is brand new and in excellent condition. The beds are on the firm side, there is plentiful closet space, rainfall showers, abundant bedding and towels, good wi-fi, a lift, a Turkish restaurant on the main floor and friendly English-speaking staff. Comfy hotel in an excellent location at a bargain price.

Friendly and helpful staff. The dining kitchen was great. All around good experience.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is made to order(lovely omelettes). Room was cleaned everyday, mini bar replenished, within 10 minutes walking distance to most places, transport, restaurants, lovely hotel overall.

Lovely, quiet, boutique style hotel in central Sofia. Very friendly and attentive staff. Furnishings and decor are the beautiful, with modern bathrooms and complimentary toiletries and large fluffy towels. Nice bar/restaurant area and external seating. Great value for money.

It is a good small hotel.Very quiet, good location. Good wifi, The staff is friendly.
The rules are too inflexible: there are 4 or 5 kinds of breakfast given "as it is", no possibility of having breakfast packed or given in advance: we left at night and had to buy food to prepare our breakfasts for the trip. I would expect that the hotel always provides a spare roll of toilet paper. They never give you a new roll before the previous one is finished, so you have to ask for a new one if you need one in the evening.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel. The hotel is new and the room offered to us was spacious and nice decorated. The hairdryer in the bathroom was not working but after asking the polite receptionist they let us another one in the room. The room also had a balcony with a little table and two chairs.

The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood which is only 10 minutes walking to the main pedestrian road of the city Vitosha Blvd where you can find plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars.

This hotel is new and in good condition. The room I was given was spacious and most importantly, clean.The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were always ready to help, with a smile. The one slight complaint is that late at night, there was no staff at reception; but they were usually on site and easy to contact so this didn't bother me too much. Breakfast was average but filling. The area the hotel is in is residential and around a 20 minute walk from most of the main sights. However if you need to be close to the National Palace of Culture, this hotel is ideal.
