Great spot easy to come and go. Clean
Great location close to major stations made transiting around easy. Okay area - lots of bars and restaurants didn’t feel too great a night a lot of men’s services in the area which wasn’t great for female travellers. Otherwise good location 7/11 right in front was convenient. Outlets used my Canadian ports so no converter was required which was a bonus. PJ available (one size only), tooth brushes, hair combs, slippers and mini packs of toothpaste as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower. House keeping came daily (10:00 - 12:00 am) which was nice but you could request for them to not come in but mandatory they come in every 3 days for security reasons and will leave paper at your door. Staff was nice you can keep your luggage in the lobby for check in and out. But it is not locked away it is just right in the front lobby with a number on it. I was concerned about theft as often there wasn’t alway someone at the front desk you needed to ring the bell so I used a bike lock to secure my luggage but you should be fine to just leave them just a personal preference to lock mine. Front desk Staff spoke some English and was able to accommodate my very late in check 9:00 pm. Room service did not speak any English.
Room was small booked a double bed x2 people - bed was very comfy and nice showers hot water and great water pressure. Keep in mind little to no privacy in the bathroom you can see right into the shower and washroom from the bed. There is curtains to create bit of privacy but not completely as you can see through the sides of the curtain and no lock on either to bathroom or shower doors as it was split in two different sides and two separate doors. Not a lot of storage space to place belonging but you are able to fully open your luggage which is nice considering Japan hotel rooms are normally small. I got a great discount on my stay if I wear to pay typical price that this hotel runs for I would say it’s not worth top dollar and over priced as breakfast is not included, and rooms are very small. Nice that it is close to stations. Good value for money considering I got a heavy discount on my stay due to sales but in my opinion not worth full price value but use your own judgement. Hope this review helps happy travelling.
The location
The room was too small
cute little room, facility was quiet, cosy, , little PJ's were a cute extra. we paid for breakfast which was nice, nothing over the top but all we needed. good location to walk to the station, lots of food around to grab a bite to eat or a drink, 7 eleven across the rd. overall we had a great stay
not that we watch much tv but would have been good to have the option for Netflix or another stream services for that time when we just couldn't walk anymore lol
The location was great!!
The hotel is not a 3 star hotel, compared to other hotels we stayed at. And for its facilities it was expensive. It was dark, the cleaning was ok and for sure it was not value for money. The breakfast was ok and served in a restaurant next to the property. I recommend not to pay for the breakfast there and just go to the convenient store which is in the corner.
Location was great - within 3 mins walk of the train station. Room was small but functional.
The layout of the bathroom - there was a pass-through layout so the person on the shower/sink side could see through to the toilet/2nd sink side. Very stylish but not very conducive for privacy on the toilet. Had to go down to lobby for coffee - no coffee machine in the room.
Amazing area.
Very old rooms.
Bem localizado, muito proximo do metrô.
Quarto pequeno. Bom café da manhã.
Risveglio Akasaka is a gem of a hotel. Great location, all requisite facilities were there and in good working order.
The bathroom and bedroom were compact but beautifully designed to accommodate everything we needed.
Staff were courteous and helpful. Special shoutout to the Nepali staff at the restaurant and kitchen. Breakfast is especially good - very filling and large servings. They do have vegetarian options too. Also special thank you to the front office staff who helped us with the smoothest check in and check out, as well as helped us get our luggage sent ahead to the next hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean - clean linen and regular housekeeping.
We were very comfortable there and would have been happy to extend our stay if we could!
The room was great for us as we are average sized people, but folks who are of large build or very tall may find it a bit cramped. However, this was NOT an issue for us!
Could not open window in the room; again not an issue for us as it was cold outside, but may be a challenge in summer.
The hotel is located in an amazing location. Few minutes walk to different metro lines, very close to Harry Potter cafe and station. Staff were amazing. We left some items in the room by mistake and they contacted us immediately and sent them by post, which we were very grateful.
Also very clean and roomy.
The location is perfect, subway is very close by, some good food places as well.
The room felt quite dusty, might be a problem for someone who is sensitive to dust.
Excellent location in Akasaka (not to be confused with Asakusa), in the middle of 2 subway stations that easily connect you to the rest of Tokyo. Plenty of food options around the hotel, and rooms itself were big enough to open suitcases etc.
Only improvement could be shower water pressure
