Serviceable APA business hotel right by the train station. If you find yourself covering a lot of ground by train and this area seems useful as an overnight stop, I have no reservations recommending here. The restaurant downstairs served a nice meal too.
The usual APA clutter in such a small room. You will find everything you need and more, but it will feel cramped.

Convenient
Small room
Prime location right next door to the Joetsumyoko Shinkansen station. Also adjacent to several rental car companies. Walking distance to Lawsons and several other restaurants.
Price for parking is reasonable (¥500), but it’s per entry, so if you want to drive to dinner and return, it’s a separate payment. I wish hotel guests were only charged per day with unlimited departures and arrivals.
Proximity to train station and rental cars
Hotel is located just beside the trainstation, which made hometrip very easy back to Tokyo. Hotel had luxurious feel to it and the services were great, the public bathing section was amazing and brilliant way of relaxation after the day's skiing. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable to sleep on!
1. SPACE
Rooms were very small and I wished hotel would come up with some more practical solutions for their skiing customers, because the hotel obviously do attract a lot of tourists with skiing purposes.
We, as small group of skiers who were staying in rooms as pair of people, the space issue became fast an issue after you want to place your soaked and wet snowgear somewhere to dry up after the skiday. We managed this by hanging most of the stuff to bathroom, but this made bathroom afterwards nearly unusable. This doesn't even include yet all the other luggage and skigear, plus bags you also need to have in your room. Room did not have any practical shelves or wardrobes to have your stuff on. This should be seriously reconsidered by the hotel's team.
If budget allows, I recommend a room per person to accommodate their own rooms to have atleast a moderate amount of space for themselves and their stuff.
2. ELEVATOR
Hotel for its size has only one single elevator to operate, which is not enough for all the traffic the hotel runs. Busy and crowded times of the day you could easily spend 10 minutes just to get elevator, not to mention all the stops between the floors.
3. BREAKFAST
Breakfast was dissappointing. It is not buffet-type wide selection breakfast, but very local sampled and ready-made offered to you on plate. Also the dining area is extremely small for the amount of residents this hotel serves (up to 10 floors). Poorly executed and not worth the money. We ended up not using our breakfast tickets only once becauser the breakfast was boring and tiredning with no possibility of choosing it yourself.
Most of all we were happy on our stay, but many practical errors to fix when considering skier residents.
