We really lucked out with this hotel
Pros:

I have a lot to say about our visit last week. All GREAT things. To sum things up, C.C. and her team were a godsend. I really wanted to treat my wife to a nice birthday but was limited to what I could do. I called to at least see if we might get a higher floor with a view. Luckily I talked to C.C. After checking out her computer, she called me back and confirmed that she could do better - she said that she upgraded our room with a city view. I was so appreciative but it got better. When we arrived we were greeted by C.C. and her team at the front desk. "Happy Birthday!" They provided us with a gift bag - not your typical bag of spring water and pretzels. The bag had 3 different treats and chocolate as well as a small bottle of wine. I was also happy to get a hug from Miss. C.C. We got to the room on the 19th floor and the room was awesome...spectacular room. A couple of takeaway points here (1) I was looking for a nice get away but the hotel provided more than that; a very special experience that we'll never forget (2) With the world being what it is these days, with customer service lacking wherever we go, C.C. and team more than delivered on expectations (3) Every day the news provides us with a pessimistic outlook covering bad stuff and horrible people, I've spent the past days thinking about our stay. I am so thankful to have made this choice and stay at this hotel. The hotel was great but our experience was all about the people. C.C. and team are obviously really special people. When we can, we would be thrilled to come back.

Short and sweet!
Pros:

The location was near the concert I attended. And the room was better than I expected.

Cons:

I didn’t like the fact that parking wasn’t included in the room rate.

Perfect except Automatic Parking Fee
Pros:

I really thought this would be a genuine 5-star experience. The convenient location, interesting design within another hotel and the Queen City Quarter, light rail literally outside the door, and the excellent selection of complimentary breakfast. Staff were not simply polite and friendly, but went out of their way to check me in ahead of schedule and bringing a water cooler.

The only issue is the automatic parking charge. Even after I clearly replied “no” to having a car or needing to park. And even after contacting the front desk, the received refund was still short. I checked the initial reservation email and this was a “Member Rate Flexible”, not a package with parking. I wish the staff would be more careful and caring on the back end like the staff during the actual stay.

Great Hotel
Pros:

This hotel was clean and nice they have a bar/restaurant on site. The food was good. Its located not even a 5 minute walk to the baseball stadium and less than 10 minutes to Panther stadium. There were restaurant and bars near. As far as the rooms its your typical residence inn and thats not meant in a negative way kitchen, sleeper sofa, desk etc. The staff was friendly.

Family staycation
Pros:

Renayah was great very kind but the short bald Spanish man was weird… I had my kids with me and he seemed more focused on talking about his man or whatever and while I don’t mind what was said it’s because he was at work and my kids were present besides that no valet? Breakfast was great Alisa is so kind and the concierge was very welcoming didn’t get his name
