One of our favourite Lanka stays
Pros:

The family is so welcoming. Really feels like a home that you are part of. Cooks great food on site and we had a very fun and affordable elephant safari. Mother also does cooking classes around the corner and this you can taste at your dinner. The garden is very chill and the hammock also. Location is within walking distance of restaurants and tuktuks and both rocks but still nicely tucked away. One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Room is basic but has everything you need and the bed is good. Hot water, ac, mosquito net, fan. Loved it here

Pros:

Exceptional value for money. Nula, and her d young daughter Allessia were both delightful. Great local style dinner and breakfast. Pretty garden, and lovely chill, quiet vibe. Definitely recommend it.

Pros:

La familia es encantadora y muy amables. La comida que prepara la mujer está muy buena. Por el precio no se puede pedir más.

Cons:

La habitación tenía muchísimas humedades, te sientes encerrado con un olor bastante fuerte y el colchón la verdad no es nada nada cómodo. La mosquitera de la cama incluso estaba pegada con tiritas. Por el precio que pagas no puedes pedir más pero no creo que sea un alojamiento que cualquier persona vaya a estar cómoda.

Clean homestay and a lovely family.
Yes, there are bugs—but hey, that's how it is in the jungle.
Good breakfast and very tasty dinner. Cooking classes are also offered.
I met a few girls in Sigiriya and the hosts organized an elephant safari for us. On the day of our departure, the host himself drove us to Kandy, with a stopover in Dambulla. 👍

Pros:

Die Unterkunft hat ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir wurden überall auf Sri Lanka sehr nett empfangen aber hier besonders herzlich. Die Gastgeberin hat uns auch zu sehr günstigen Preisen Essen gemacht. Nachdem Essen haben wir noch mit der gesamten Familie und vor allem ihrer 10 jährigen Tochter Carrom gespielt. Die Zimmer sind absolut ausreichend für alle, die keinen besonderen Extras brauchen. Man hat ein großes Bett, genügend Ablagflächen, ein eigenes Bad und eine Klimaanlage. Wer also eine günstige Unterkunft mit äußerst lieben Gastgebern sucht, ist hier richtig.

Great location and friendly staff, though some cleanliness issues and the Tuk-Tuk price were a bit disappointing.

The location was great, breakfast was decent for the price, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming!

Cons:

The bedsheet could have been cleaner and there were quite a few flying ants. Initially there was no mosquito net, but once we asked, they kindly provided one. The Tuk-Tuk service was convenient, but I personally found the price (2500 LKR for a return trip to Pidurangala Rock) a bit higher compared to PickMe.

Pros:

Sehr, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin samt Mutter und Schwester, die zu Besuch waren.
Leckeres srilankisches Frühstück. Abendessen auch sehr gut. Wir haben einen Kochkurs mitgemacht, der sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat und leckeres Essen gab es dann natürlich auch.
Die Lage ist etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, wodurch es ruhig ist. Zur Hauptstraße mit den anderen Restaurants und Läden kann man aber gut zu Fuß gehen.
Die Gastgeberinnen waren bei der Organisation der Ausflüge und auch sonst jederzeit behilflich.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit und eines ohne Klimaanlage. Dies macht sich natürlich bei der Zimmertemperatur bemerkbar. Strom und Wasser funktionierte bei uns zu jeder Zeit.
Die Terrasse vor dem Haus ist sehr schön.

Famille adorable, avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix.
Pros:

La famille qui tient l'hôtel est merveilleuse: adorable, accueillante et attentionnée. La nourriture est très bonne. La chambre est rudimentaire mais les matelas sont très bons. L'hôte m'a aidé à organiser un safari rempli d'éléphants. Le tout à 5 minutes en tuktuk de Sigirîya.

Clean, welcoming and so nice I could’ve stayed for a week.
Pros:

The family were so welcoming, made me feel apart or theirs during my stay. My room was clean and it was so nice to finally have a shower with great pressure. Best homestay I’ve experienced so far during my two weeks in Sri Lanka. Don’t turn down the breakfast they offer it’s delicious and huge! Also the best wifi I’ve experienced during my 3 month trip.
