Jessena at the reception desk went the extra mile in helping me with my husband who has mobility challenges.
At breakfast time, the staff working in the kitchen were too loud in their personal conversation.
I’m honestly really disappointed with our stay. When we arrived late after a long drive, we went straight to bed and didn’t notice everything right away—but by morning, it was hard to ignore.
The TV stand and dresser were absolutely covered in dust—so much so that you could clearly see it all over the items we had set down. It made the whole room feel unclean. The bathroom was just as bad. The sink was dirty, the vents were completely filled with dust, and the shower wouldn’t drain properly—it filled up to our ankles while using it. On top of that, there were exposed wires hanging out of the wall, which was both concerning and unacceptable.
Had we realized all of this before settling in for the night, we absolutely would have requested a different room. Unfortunately, after a long day of driving, that just wasn’t realistic at the time.
Overall, the condition of the room did not match expectations at all and made for a very uncomfortable stay.

When I booked the room, I explained I was on oxygen and would like first floor. My room was 201at the very end of hall of second floor.
I booked a king size bed room and when we checked in they said they overbooked the king size bed rooms. They told me their members who book directly from Holiday Inn get priority and since I booked through booking.com they moved us to a queen suite. I did not want a queen suite and my husband and I had a terrible nights sleep and we had to be up for an early flight. Will not book through them again.

Its location is great. Right off Rt 75 and near Punta Gorda Airport. Close to Spring Training venues. Wonderful facilities and a tasty breakfast. And very friendly and helpful staff.
