Pros:

Hotel was located far from eateries. There is only a convenience store next door which close early. Room was comfortable but the toilet seat was stained. Not much selection for breakfast.

Great stay
Pros:

Hotel was walking distance from the luoyang longmen high speed railway (20 minute leisure walk). Check in was easy, greeted well and offered tea as we waited for our passports to be copied. Room was spacious, clean, and very nice. There is a kettle and refrigerator in the room. During our stay they provided free water bottles and evening fruits (apples and bananas) and yogurt. We had dinner one night at their restaurant. Even though we were one of 3 tables there service was slow compared to what we're used to, I think there was only one chef working the kitchen (waited almost an hour for everything to come). And the food was a little too oily for our taste but the flavors were great. Overall, this was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
Pros:

I arrived very early to Ease House and the staff graciously checked me in ahead of time.
A pleasant hotel located very close to the Louyang train station and convenient to Longmen Grottoes.
Large clean room with all the amenities.
A nice Chinese style breakfast.
There is a restaurant with good food in the hotel and a coffee shop.
Complimentary fruits and milk at night a nice touch.
There is also a pleasant common area with computers in the lobby and reading corners on each floor which also has kids toys; I saw a child enjoy a rocking horse.

Not much in the area after sundown. I did not go out but it is easy to catch a taxi if you want to have dinner elsewhere.
The manager spoke English but not the staff. They use a translation app but that can be a slow process. Just plan your activities online beforehand, if you have less time.
The staff is friendly and try to be very helpful. They went out of their way to hail taxis, etc.
