CityHub Rotterdam: Small Space, Massive Personality
Pros:

Just wrapped up my stay (April 20-23) and man, this place is next level! If you’re into that high-tech, futuristic feel, you’re gonna love the "Hubs."
​What I totally liked:
​The Location: It’s right on Witte de Withstraat, which is basically the heart of Rotterdam's nightlife. Tons of cool bars and cafes literally outside the door.
​The Tech: Controlling the room lights and music via the app/wristband is so clutch. Plus, the Wi-Fi is super fast.
​Cleanliness: Even though the bathrooms are shared, they are spotless and feel high-end (shoutout to the Rituals products!).
​The Vibes: The CityHosts are legends—super chill and always ready with the best local tips. The hangout area is perfect for a quick drink before heading out.
​It’s basically the privacy of a hotel with the social vibe of a hostel. If you’re a solo traveler or a couple looking for something unique and central, this is it! 💯

Cons:

​The Space Struggle: The Hubs are basically pods, so if you’re traveling with big suitcases, it’s a tight squeeze. There’s almost no floor space to keep your bags open, so you’ve gotta stay organized or it gets messy fast.

​Climb or Crawl: Depending on which Hub you get, you’re either climbing a ladder to the top bunk or crawling into the bottom one. Not the best if you’re prone to hitting your head or hate moving in cramped spaces.

​The "Shared" Factor: While the bathrooms are fancy, they’re still shared. Having to put on shoes and a robe just to go to the toilet in the middle of the night can be a bit of a mission.
​
​No Windows: Most Hubs don't have windows to the outside world. If you’re a bit claustrophobic or like waking up to natural sunlight, it can feel a bit like living in a (very cool) spaceship.

​Bottom line: If you’re a minimalist who loves tech, it’s fine, but if you need a "roomy" room, it might feel a bit tight!
