A wonderful experience of the Calabrian area with amazing people.
Pros:

Tremendous owners that were so hospitable from the very start. The space where we stayed was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean from the patio and rooms.

Entspannte Zeit in charmantem Häuschen in einem wunderschönen Bergdorf

Das Bergdorf Belmonte ist ein idyllisch gelegener Ort mit einem tollen Blick auf Berge und Meer. Es war einfach schön, in diesem alten, liebevoll renovierten Häuschen zu wohnen….es hat Flair und Charme. Von unserer kleinen Terrasse hatten wir einen Blick auf die Dächer der umliegenden Häusern und die Natur. Wir konnten herrlich entspannen.
Gabriela ist eine zugewandte Gastgeberin, die uns auf Wunsch Tipps gab, immer für ein freundliches Gespräch offen und das Essen am Abend war immer köstlich (auf Wunsch kochen sie und ihre Köchin im ihrem kleinen Gartenrestaurant).
Der Weg zum Strand ist schon eine kleine Herausforderung, vor allem bergauf und in der Hitze, aber es ist durchaus zu schaffen!

Cons:

Leider war die Matratze für mich viel zu hart und meine Nächte waren deshalb nicht so entspannt.

Bellezza, comfort e tradizione.
Pros:

Abbiamo passato tre notti presso l’albergo diffuso Eco Belmonte, un bellissimo progetto all’interno del borgo storico di Belmonte Calabro. Qui Gabriella e Gianfranco hanno valorizzato il territorio attraverso la ristrutturazione di vecchie abitazioni; insieme gestiscono questo luogo con rispetto verso il passato ma attraverso un progetto innovativo. Nel borgo c’è anche il loro ristorante che ogni sera serve un menu fisso di carne o di pesce: ottimo cibo e rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ecobelmonte è veramente un posto caratteristico, bello e funzionale. Il paese è piccolo, arroccato e a pochi minuti dalla Marina. Noi siamo stati d’estate per il mare, ma propongono anche escursioni nei territori vicini in montagna e nei borghi limitrofi durante tutto l’anno!

Un posto unico per godere della bellezza circostante senza rinunciare al comfort di un albergo. Speriamo di tornare!

Pros:

Ecobelmonte è molto piu' di un albergo diffuso: è un progetto di vera valorizzazione del patrimonio storico, architettonico ed emozionale del meraviglioso borgo di Belmonte Calabro, un intrico magico di vicoli, gradini e scorci imperdibili di mare e colline verdeggianti. Il tutto gestito con amore, rispetto e un pò di sana follia dall'omonima associazione ed in primis da Gianfranco e Gabrilla che oltretutto è una cuoca sopraffina. Abbiamo alloggiato 3 notti in una delle casette di paese che fungono da "camere" , tutte ristrutturate con materiali originali o di recupero e provviste di tutto, ed è stato come calarsi in una realtà di altri tempi. Veramente affascinante e rilassante. Un'esperienza sorprendente che consiglio vivamente, anche perché il mare è molto vicino e bello e si possono fare escursioni sia in collina che in altri borghi vicini, tra cui Fiumefreddo Bruzio, altra "terrazza" con affaccio mozzafiato sul mare.

The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The scenery is breathtaking and the atmosphere truly magical. The town is picturesque and full of charm. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The most perfect location! The appartment was extremely clean and beautifully furnished in wooden interior. The hosts are the nicest people. If you want gorgeous views, a light blue clear ocean and good food go to Ecobelmonte! Great choice
