Great place to stay especially for new visitors to Hanoi.
Pros:

Beautiful Hotel- very clean, quiet and comfortable - and the service and Hotel team were exceptional. So warm, welcoming and helpful. The location in the Old Quarter is perfect for a stay in Hanoi- within walking distance to most of the major attractions. The food and ambiance in the Viet restaurant and the Cloud Bar are terrific and the views over Hanoi are spectacular. Happy to highly recommend the JM Marvel Hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay would recommend.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our very early arrival. The room was lovely and the food at the rooftop bar was excellent. The location is excellent with great facilities.

Great option when staying in Hanoi Old Quarter - everything is in walking distance!
Pros:

Excellent location, very clean, comfortable beds and super friendly staff!

Cons:

Some rooms don’t have windows, so make sure to get one with natural lighting if that’s important to you.

Somewhat disappointing.
Pros:

The location is excellent, a 5 mn walk from Street train and in the heart of the old quarter.
It was my husband's birthday and they decorated our room with balloons which was a lovely gesture as well as bringing him at breakfast a small cake and candle to blow. This was totally unexpected and very much appreciated.

Cons:

We found the breakfast staff very indifferent, they did very little and only half-heaterdly, although I must stress other staff in the hotel were friendly and keen to help.
The breakfast choice itself is quite poor, the worst in all our travels around Cambodia and Vietnam. Our room was small with no room for our cases which we had to slide under the bed and the bathroom had no space for any of our stuff. Ok for a one night stay but less so for 4 nights. Make sure you book a larger room!
