The staff were friendly and the location was great, all in all a nice little hotel. I will look forward to visiting in the future when the restaurant is up and running again
There is nothing I didn’t like, just no food available at the moment due to the hotel being flooded out in November. Appreciate that can’t be helped
Excellent location, friendly staff, great value for money.
Despite the hotel being unable to offer a breakfast service, due to the recent flooding in Monmouth, our stay was comfortable.
I look forward to staying again when I can enjoy their lovely breakfast again.

The shower was not usable due to extremely poor water flow.
Some areas were not as clean as they could have been. The drain hole in the shower had not been cleaned for a very long time and gave out a strong mouldy smell.
Proximity to town was great. Free parking. The guy who checked us in was helpful in proving extra tea/coffee/milk for the room.
Website for hotel said there was a resident's bar - this was not available. No food or drinks available at all with the exception of tea/coffee facilities in the room. We had twin room which was a good size but beds not very comfortable. Hairs in the bath tub. Room rather shabby. No double glazing - room was at front of hotel on busy road so quite noisy.

Room has a bath which is automatically amazing.
It was unfortunate the restaurant was closed but completely understandable.
Great location close to centre of town and very close to the official Offa's Dyke Path through Monmouth.
