Location and friendly staff.
The state of hallways to rooms, very drab. Room noisy due to traffic excessive during nighttime, would have expected double glazing.
Inexperienced staff in the dining room. Freshly made coffee prepared and then left on the counter top instead of being delivered to table.
Tables not cleared at breakfast time, unable to sit at clean table. Even after table was cleared it was not cleaned or relayed.
Shower cubicle rather than shower over bath.

By the pier with views of the beach the hotel is extremely well situated .

Hotels where you can book in at 2pm and book out at midday are getting rarer and rarer so a welcome find .
And in mid week Hastings pubs tend to close early which is why the hotels retro fitted bar and restaurant open to midnight is a real plus .
Sea view rooms probably a bit noisy but what can you do it’s the main drag .
Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was great value with 20% off , was lovely sitting out on terrace, overlooking the sea and pier. The staff were great, very friendly.
When arriving, the car park was at the back and when entering had to come down two flights of stairs.

Lovely hotel in prime location. Spotlessly clean lovely rooms great view. Lots of stairs. Good parking. Staff so friendly.
Really need to get a good chef. Food was not well presented and although cooked could have been so much better. The only bad point about the hotel. Having said that the sandwich and snacks where very good.

Superb location by the beach and within ten minutes of the train station and old town, very clean rooms, amazingly friendly staff. Managed to get an upgrade to a bigger room too. Breakfast (discounted at 20% for hotel guests) was also delicious
The lifts are a bit small. Property is quite old and a little run down too.
