A great base for turtle watching and a relaxing beach stay
Pros:

We had a really lovely stay at Turtle Paradise. The rooms were spotlessly clean, airy and spacious, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning to keep them cool.

We ate all our meals here during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed everything – the food was consistently good and made it very easy to relax and stay put.

The family who run the hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us great suggestions for things to do nearby and helped us to arrange transport, which made everything very easy.

The location is ideal, just a short walk from the Rekawa Beach Turtle Project, which made it so easy to head out in the evening to see nesting turtles and then return quickly afterwards. During the day, the beach is beautiful and quiet, and we loved exploring the coastline and spotting turtles swimming in the sea.

Overall, it was a perfect base for this part of our trip and we would happily recommend it.

Bella struttura vicinissima al centro dí avvistamento delle tartarughe marine.
Pros:

La struttura è molto carina e pulita. Il ristorante è buono e i prezzi sono economici. Peccato che il figlio dei padroni, a differenza delle recensioni lette, si sia rivelato una persona poco trasparente, che cerca di ingannarti per estorcerti denaro per vedere le tartarughe. In realtà basta andare al centro Rekawa Turtle Sanctuary, dove ci sono ragazzi gentilissimi che al prezzo standard del biglietto ti avvertono se avvistano tartarughe per permetterti di vedere la deposizione. La spiaggia è bellissima e quasi deserta anche se è impossibile fare il bagno causa la forza delle onde. A circa 1 km però c’è una caletta dove é possibile nuotare insieme ad una simpatica tartaruga che vive lì

Alles, die Location war super. Super freundliche Gastgeber. Ich war zu der Zeit des einzige Gast und habe es sehr genossen. Hotelräumlichkeiten super, toll ausgestattet und sauber. Das Essen reichhaltig und sehr lecker
Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war eine der besten Unterkünfte in Sri Lanka.

Le paradis des tortues!
Pros:

Tout était parfait, chambres spacieuses et confortables, équipées de climatiseurs et ventilateurs de plafond. Le restaurant est excellent, la maîtresse de maison cuisine très bien, les petits déjeuner variés, sur 3 jours jamais le même! Mais toujours excellent. Et très proche de la plage où les tortues viennent pondre, et dans la journée on peut les voir nager.

Cons:

Rien à voir avec l’établissement mais on peut difficilement se baigner sur la plage car mer très agitée, mais plage magnifique.

Close to Nature
Pros:

We stayed in this beautiful family-run accommodation and really enjoyed its warm, welcoming atmosphere. The carved wooden staircase and the terrace restaurant gave the place a lot of character, and the breakfasts were excellent every day — we even got to try fresh soursop, which was a lovely surprise. The rooms were nice and spacious, a bit outdated in style and slightly humid in places, but still well equipped with very comfortable beds. We especially loved sitting on the balcony to read, relax, and watch birds and monkeys in the trees.

The location is stunning, only about a three-minute walk from Turtle Beach, with great opportunities for wildlife walks and birdwatching, and a lagoon about ten minutes away where you can go kayaking. Overall, a lovely place for nature lovers who appreciate a calm, authentic atmosphere.

Cons:

Just keep in mind that the town is around a 15-minute drive, and apart from two other restaurants nearby there isn’t much else in the area — which can be a plus if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Also, this part of the beach isn’t ideal for swimming because the waves were very big during our stay.

Great place. Great people. Very friendly locals always willing to tell you about their area.

Food was amazing. Room was very clean. Washing service was great they arranged 2 safaris for us and all went very smoothly. Could not do enough for us. Breakfast was especially good. Would highly recommend a stay here

Très bel établissement , personnel au petit soin, agréable et bienveillant. Comme tous les sri lankais rencontré en 15 jours!!
Bonne cuisine, chambre spacieuse, propre , a 50 mètres de la otage de rekawa.

Cons:

Manque peut être une piscine, la plage est magnifique mais dangereuse pour la baignade.
