Pros:

L'hôte était très gentil.
On recommande fortement le repas du soir qui est excellent avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix.
La chambre est joliment décoré.

Cons:

Manque une moustiquaire car il y a beaucoup de moustiques dans la ville.

Pros:

バルコニー付きの広い部屋、暖かいシャワーあり。ホストは適度に親切。チェックアウト後もロビーのトイレを借りれたのは非常にありがたかった。

Cons:

徒歩圏内にめぼしい施設はないが、スーパーマーケットなどには行ける。
ガイドブックに自転車はたいがいの宿で借りれる、とあったが借りれなかった。なお、遺跡巡りを自転車でしている人もいなかった。宿からやや遠く、遺跡も広いのでまず無理。トゥクトゥクで巡った。

Quirky quiet accommodation in an ideal location.
Pros:

Perfect for a 2 night stay. Cool and quiet in a bustling hot city - loved sitting on the upstairs veranda for breakfast and with a cold beer at the end of the day. Very accommodating staff.

Pros:

The Why Not Palace is a good value Hotel (Homestay).
We had dinner one night in the hotel and the the traditional Sri Lankan food was excellent.

Cons:

The staff in the hotel were very friendly but their English was not very good which was a pity.

A complete gem of a place at bargain price.
Pros:

Lovely hosts who really want to take care of their guests. Spotlessly clean rooms with excellent AC and comfortable beds. Bedlinen was crisp and fresh. We travel budget , which this is, but this was the first bathroom of our holiday that I actually wanted to use. It had hot water, a short curtain and a slightly sloping shower towards the drain. So no flooded floor! Breakfast was also very good. All a joy since it was also on a very quiet street giving an excellent nights sleep.

Nothing at all to complain about. Thank you both so much

Lovely stay
Pros:

The house is lovely in a quit location but with an easy reach to town. The breakfast at the terrace are absolutely amazing. Host is kind and helpful.

Pros:

Staff were exceptionally attentive. Breakfasts were delicious; on our 3rd day we were asked if we would like the sri lankan breakfast- it was great, thank you.
Room was very comfortable. Reception area was very pleasant. We did a lot of walking around the ancient city.
