Pros:

Very clean room, great choice of breakfast options, close to Newport Town centre and only 5 minutes from the M4 junction. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great value for money.

Excellent will definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Gateway has been recently renovated and beautiful inside, not the same as pictures on website, they are are going to upgrade pictures once complete. The breakfast was lovely, the dinning area is so relaxing and comfortable to sit and enjoy breakfast. The bedroom had the essentials, and more had mini fridge and microwave. With still plenty of space in bedroom.

Cons:

Where it is situation, near rail line and busy road. Very noisy however did leave window open as weather was very warm during our stay. Good point was fan in bedroom.

This hotel is lovely and pictures on here don't do it justice as the rooms are lovely and recently decorated we also had a fan in our room which was a nice touch as it was very very warm weather. We also had a little fridge in the room which was also a nice addition excellent stay and breakfast was lovely

Cons:

Bit of noise from the road but not the properties fault as had windows open because it was so warm outside

Lovely inner city stay
Pros:

Refurbished to good standard, v v close to work & city centre. Nice little room with decent ensuite. I knew the location so wasnt expecting a view.
Plenty of parking on site.

Cons:

Entry was a little long winded, code to call thru to reception to open front door, they then answered or had note on door (back in 10 mins), there was no ley to gain access to building regardless of how many nights you stay but its summer so just sat on wall & waited. In winter it won't be so much fun waiting outside.

Would not stay again
Pros:

Room was clean, reception clean

Cons:

We were not aware that part of the hotel was being used to accommodate people on bail. We were woken up in the early hours by the sound of banging and shouting then a car smashing into another car in the car park the narrowly missing our car. The police were called which was when we discovered the hotel was used for people on bail. Not what we expected at all
