Poor condition
Pros:

Room were in bad condition. Trapped animals inside of small cages. Worst experience of our Bali trip. We booked for 2 days left after a couple of hours.

Pros:

We enjoyed our short stay at Lutwala. It is very quiet and separate from the hustle and bustle of the main strip of Gili T. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Nemo who went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us find the best snorkeling spots! The wifi here was also great which is a huge plus because that can be really hard to find sometimes as we were travelling around Indonesia.

Some downsides were that the shower did not get any hot water while we were there which made for a pretty uncomfortable showering experience. The room was quite dark there was mold in the bathroom. The restaurant was also pretty pricey for the amount of food we got, but the food was tasty!

Overall we had a nice short stay! The location and the kind helpful staff were the highlight!

Quiet, well-run hotel right in front of one of some of the best diving in the world and certainly the best reef on Gili T. About 1.5km from the Main Street so not too far but not too close either.
Amazing managers and staff. Great food and everything on a reasonable budget. If you’re the type that thinks you need a 500$/night room then don’t come here. Go get your IG/Tiktok selfies somewhere else.

Primarily a diving based hotel so there are no drunks or parties. But you don’t need to be a diver to appreciate this gem.

Recent updates and renovations just made it better as I’ve been here a more than a few times over the last 10yrs.
Add the selfless Cats and Horses of Gili spirit and there you go.
