Very memorable stay and best sauna ever
Pros:

It’s in a remote, beautiful spot very close to the Russian border with a river at the bottom of extensive grounds. The wood-fired sauna is fantastic, the swimming great, the sense of peace belies the area’s history in the Winter War. The hosts could not do more and the food is local and delicious - go for homemade Karelian pies with egg butter.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und hat eine sehr schöne ruhige Lage direkt am Fluß . Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und spricht sehr gut deutsch.

Herran kukkarossa, hiljaisuuden keskellä.
Pros:

Aamiainen oli unohtumaton. En ollut koskaan ennen maistanut (oman pellon luomu -) spelttikarjalanpiirakoita. Siinä on jo riittävä syy tulla uudestaan.

Koko Möhkön alue erittäin kiinnostava. Majoituspaikassa kaikki kohdallaan ja päälle pieniä uniikkeja asioita: nimikoidut astiat ja pyyhkeet jne. Ystävällinen palvelu ja erinomainen iltapala!!

Viileät lattiat ja sade kun saavuttiin :-)

Tukikohta Suomen itäisimpien kansallispuistojen kiertämiseen
Pros:

Möhkön Rajakartanon isäntäpari otti meidät sydämellisesti vastaan. Saimme majoittua kaksi yötä päätalon ainoina asiakkaina omassa rauhassamme.

Kauniisti lasiverannalle katettu puuroaamiainen marjoineen, raparperikeittoineen ja itse paistettuine sämpylöineen antoi hyvin energiaa päivän retkeilyyn Petkeljärvellä.

Illalla nautimme rantasaunan lempeistä löylyistä ja vilvoittelimme hetken laavulla jokimaisemaa ihaillen.

Toisen hyvin nukutun yön jälkeen matka jatkui kohti Patvinsuota.

Erittäin hyvä tukikohta alueen retkikohteisiin tutustumiseen
Pros:

Siisti ja hyväkuntoinen majoitus. Sopi erittäin hyvin meidän neljän miehen retkiseurueelle. Tilaamamme illallinen oli erinomainen karjalaistyyliin. Kunnollinen perinteinen sauna joen rannassa oli myös mukava kokemus.
