Pros:

13.5 years ago we had our wedding reception at The Old Barn and we stayed in the Penhow Suite. We have had many meals there are we are local, but this was our first time returning to stay in the Suite and it was stunning. We had a warm welcome, wonderful food, and lovely stay.

Pros:

This is my second stay and I will definitely return. All facilities are excellent and the Sunday roast that I had was delicious.
The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Fijne plek om bij te komen, ietwat gedateerd. Ontbijt wordt vers gemaakt, keuze is iets beperkt en presentatie kan beter
Pros:

We hadden een kamer op de begane grond. In een apart bijgebouw. Dat was prettig met het in-en uitpakken van de auto.

De kamer was aangenaam van temperatuur (we waren er tijden een koude periode).

Veel parkeerruimte.

Kamer is royaal. Goed verlicht. Theekistje is goed gevuld.

Cons:

Ontbijt was goed, maar wat kaal. Presentatie kan beter.

Gehorig; we hoorden de geluiden boven ons heel goed.

Kamer is netjes, maar wel gedateerd. Er is een bad, maar daar moet je ook in douchen.

Second visit here and it was a great stay. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was great.

Cons:

It's a shame there isn't a coffee machine. Only filter coffee which I'm not a fan of.

Excellent amenities, friendly staff and a calm, convenient location.
Pros:

A place with a lot of character in a lovely setting and convenient for anyone traveling in southeast Wales and/or western England. The room was clean and comfortable. Dessert and beverages at the pub were most enjoyable, and the breakfast also very good. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. I would stay here again any time.

Cons:

Nothing at all to complain about.
