The room was clean. We ate in the restaurant on all three evenings. The service was friendly and the food was delicious.
The breakfast was good and you had a little list to tick for bacon, sausage, mushroom etc.
I didn't like the unwelcoming corridor that you had to walk along to get to the rooms in the annexe. But once you were in your room it was fine.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Old Barn Inn. Easy and friendly check-in, nice bedroom, great location, excellent breakfast. And although we didn't have time to be outside, the garden looked lovely too.
Location
A little surprized to find our room along a short corridor, in a separate building to the main area. However, it was very secure and easy to find.
The room was spacious with natural light.
We enjoyed our evening meal, the staff were attentive, friendly and very professional. Breakfast was lovely, the lady in the breakfast was also very pleasant and hard working.
Another one or two options for vegetarians in the restaurant would be a good addition. Although my curry dish was lovely, perhaps some indication of how spicey it was would also be good.
Het voelde een beetje aan als een motel zoals je het ziet in Amerikaanse films. Een pub met een incheck balie en een lang los staand blok met kamers. Niet echt een hotel gevoel. Meer een kroeg waar je kan blijven slapen.
Niks was echt slecht, maar er was ook niks waarvan je zegt, YES.
Room was spacious and very clean. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was excellent.

My wife found her sweet chilli prawn pasta Main too sweet to finish, and I found my Hunters Chicken Main too overcooked to finish as I couldn’t even cut it with my knife.

Eine sehr gute Küche. Abendessen und Frühstück waren herausragend gut. Sehr praktisch waren die Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Zu loben ist auch das sehf freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverältnis.
