Pros:

The place is very clean and quiet and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is very near and you can easily reach old town with Grab.

Cons:

There are no pure vegetarian restaurants in the neighborhood.

Peaceful area right next to beautiful beaches, party fields and very close to old town.
Pros:

Gia Phat homestay is one of the best places we've stayed at. Nam and her husband were always ready to help whenever we needed something, even at night. Nam is very quick to respond to her WhatsApp messages. We stayed in the larger room with a double bed and single bed and a balcony. The accommodation is a traditional house but it is very clean, large, airy and modern. The bathroom was big with a very good shower, there was a window in the bathroom and theres a window and private balcony so the room has a lot of light in the day. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birds, Nam has a number of bikes for all residents with a lock and basket that are free to use, which is very very convenient, the beach is maybe a 10min walk but with bikes its just a few?minutes. The roads in the area aren't busy so it is safe to ride. There are a lot of wonderful beaches?nearby to choose from, many local restaurants, spas and a big cafe near by, but the area is very quiet and peaceful 6mins by taxi further north there are many shops and restaurants as well. The old town is about 10-15 mins by taxi. The area is a lovely place to stay if you prefer more peaceful and calm nights while being still close to all?the attraction and very close to the beach. The area is also safe to walk at night. Riding a bike along the riverside and through the party fields between the home stay and old town is also beautiful. Nam is a very warm and kind hearted host, and nevdr intrudes or pushes attractions, but gives a lot of information on good restaurants, beaches (her friend has a private beach). I would highly recommend this homestay, we will come back again!

Decent place, good for a short temporary stay
Pros:

Cute, kind family; comfortable room with basic necessities; good location, not too far of a walk to the closest beach, some restaurants around, quiet street.

Cons:

We were not familiar with the concept of a homestay so didn't expect to be litterally staying in a room of a family's house, having to cross their living room / kitchen to get to our room, so very little privacy. Also a bit uncomfortable feeling when the owner was waiting for me to come back at night in order to close up everything, and when my friend wanted to go out of the house in the evening and found the front door locked.

Pros:

Lam and her husband were very helpful in every way. They also showed me how to get to Da Nang using the local yellow bus (about 1 usd). The hotel is right across the road from cua dai beach and very convenient. Room is great spacious with nice balcony. Very quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
