UNE HALTE DANS L'ANCIEN TEMPS
Pros:

Situation exceptionnelle sur la place historique du village. La Garrotxa est une région magnifique et tout particulièrement SANTA PAU.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel étant fermé pour cause de décès, nous avons pu découvrir à Olot à une quinzaine de kilomètres, un autre restaurant absolument fabuleux, au cœur de la forêt, proposant à des prix raisonnables une cuisine excellente: "FONT MOIXINA"! Vivement conseillé! Même si le restaurant de l'hôtel semblait, lui-aussi, très bon et très agréable, sous les arcades de la placette.

Cons:

Absence de réfrigérateur. Savoir que le parking est en contre-bas du vieux village, à 5 minutes. ( possibilité de décharger la voiture devant l'hôtel.)

A boutique hotel stay in an absolutely delightful gem of a village!
Pros:

We loved everything about being in this charming accommodation. Eva and her staff were warm and welcoming, and they made everything very easy for us and enhanced our stay considerably with their thoughfulness. Everything right from dropping luggage at the door and easy parking, to checking in, gaining fabulous suggestions for what to do nearby, a delicious home cooked breakfast each day and then, dinner reservations in the award winning Cal Sastre Restaurant was facilitated efficiently by the energetic and super friendly Eva. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and we felt very privileged to stay in the heart of this historic, medieval village. Cal Sastre translates as "The Tailor's House" and is a truly bespoke stay. The decor provides an eclectic and fascinating look into the heritage of this place. There is so much to do in the area you could easily fill 4-5 days or longer to be able to aborb the rhythm of daily life here. We were fortunate to visit during the Saint Jordi's Day festivals, so that was an added highlight. The Volcano and Forest walks are inspiring, but the highlight for us was the village and its people - stunning! Dinner at the Cal Sastre Restaurant was exquisite, and the Chef was outstanding in his skill and hospitality.

Cons:

Leaving! The beautiful town of Santa Pau is a real gem. Once you realise you need to ignore the 'no entry' signs and actually enter the old town, everything is very easy! A lovely local lady walked us through the archway and up to Cal Sastre - so we felt welcome right from the beginning!

Un petit bijou a Santa Pau
Pros:

Un petit bijou ! L hôtel est magnifique, le repas est excellent , le village est superbe ! Et l accueil est sympathique et chaleureux ! Cela donne envie de revenir dans la garrotxa.

Pros:

Posizione molto suggestiva nel centro di Santa Pau. La camera è molto curata, comoda e pulita. La colazione ottima e ricca. I proprietari sono molto gentili.
