Entspannte Tage mit kulinarischen Highlights und herzlicher Stimmung
Pros:

Grosses Zimmer mit Balkon, sauber und neuwertig, Familienfreundlich. Zentral gelegen mit Anbindung zum Skifahren am Hasliberg direkt am Hotel. Tolle Mittags-und Abendkarte, wir haben jeden Tag dort gegessen und es war ausgezeichnet. Super freundliches Personal. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt

Pros:

Staff was hands down the most kind we encountered! Very helpful and willing to answer questions. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast was included. This place was amazing. 5 min walk to trains and staff gave you a city pass to utilize during your stay. Room was cozy and clean. Loved the meringue cookies in the room! Great location.

If in Meiringen stay here - if you can't at least try dinner at the restaurant!!!
Pros:

Perfect location ! near the train and bus station but accessible to the town on foot. The STAFF are wonderful!!
3 week trip and these folks were THE best!! the hotel is great - not fancy but very comfortable and the restaurant was awesome. Food was great and the drinks were as well. Breakfast was more basic but it was all we needed. WE were given a pass for the gondola system in town and took advantage of that - enjoyed the town as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting the people from the hotel. Worth a visit!!!

Cons:

nothing except the weather LOL!!! we got snowed out of a planned excursion:( first snow I believe

Pros:

The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The hotel is located in a scenic town with a lot of history. However, the room was terrible. The smallest i’ve ever stayed at. There’s no air conditioning, and even though we were still in May, the room was quite warm and « stuffy » to a point where we were sweating profusely. There’s a fan in the room, but it makes a lot of noise when turned on and you can’t sleep. There are two windows but you have to keep them closed because that area is full of insects. Lastly, breakfast was mid, no variety. Overall, the stay was a 4/10 only made better by the lovely staff working there.
