On the upside the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We couldn't check into our room until 4:20. No compensation was offered. We paid for 4/25/26 3pm- 11am 4/26/26.. breach of contract. We were tired and just wanted to check in at the promised time. We had to sit in a lobby full of young kids that were loud and literally running all over the entrance way.

This is our hotel of choice when we visit the Carmel area.
Pros:

Excellent ! Tasty… breakfast area spectacularly clean and well managed!!! Thank you to the wonderful breakfast people!!

Cons:

The mattress in room 421 is wearing out; I could feel the mattress spring on my hip bone when sleeping on my side.

A fine stay, except for unnecessary noise
Pros:

I couldn’t understand why the elevators loudly rang out at every floor. For us it was only disconcerting as we rode, but we heard people complain that the noise was heard throughout the night.
