Golden Topaz Resort

The resort seemed empty and we thought that it might off-peak season. Spacious and clean rooms, staff are friendly and breakfast was great!

We requested for a baby cot and were provided with it. But it had a musty smell, and when we requested for another one to replace it, they said they only have 1 cot available. We jus

Clean, affordable and quiet

Location wasn’t too bad walk to the end of the street & you are able to hop on the free bus which goes up to vinwonders,grand world safari and also airport which was so convenient, the rooms were spacious although very hard bed, pool was amazing swam everyday morning & night, breakfast was disappointing as no restaurant and the lack of choices available & misunderstanding by staff, great restaurants near by which made lunch or dinner easy. This resort is about 30 mins out of central town so if you are looking for something central you may find it an issue

Rooms were lovely although bed (mattress)was extremely hard, breakfast had to be ordered the night before as no restaurant, basic breakfast. Pool was amazing we had the pool to ourselves the whole week - little further away than I wanted but that was our fault although an amazing restaurant across the road ‘the wood house’ ate there everyday.

Beautiful, quiet, cosy resort with amazing buffet breakfast options. Friendly and accomdating staff. The puppy Bo is super cute, will definitely come back :)

We had a fabulous time here, we are two families and although we got the family rooms set back from the pool it was still wonderful. The pool area is so lovely and always sunbeds available and different people coming and going from all nationalities. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice including pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast etc as well as fruit and Vietnamese soups etc.
The rooms were very clean and large, the shower was always hot and powerful.
Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Location on the North of the island so quite a quiet spot but lovely restaurant nearby called streamline, we ate there 3 nights out of 5 it was so delicious!
The nearby beach by ocean bay resort is simply beautiful, the best from our 16 day trip.

Beautiful grounds and pool located close to the beach with shuttle service offered.
Beds were not overly comfortable and linens were not changed every two days as hotel policy mentioned.

Trevligt litet hotell med 10 minuters promenad till allmän strand. Flera mysiga restauranger längs vägen. Lagom turistigt område.

Location was nice. Pool was Great. Breakfast was good. Nearby restaurants and stores available. Public beach is quite far away - you have to pass thru two private beaches to get to the public one.

The hotel was way better than I expected and by far the best we stayed at. The hotel is a short (5 min) walk to the beach (and there is a golf buggy to take you down which was great for my elderly mum), the pool is great, and the rooms are exactly like the photos show. The staff are super friendly, and breakfast was awesome.

There is no restaurant, but there are great places to eat along the quiet road the hotel is on.

The Golden Topaz way surpassed expectations! Tom the manager was amazing! The property is exactly as the photos look, just opposite is a great restaurant, then there are 4 others down the road towards the beach. The pool is great, breakfasts are fantastic! I would definitely return!

Idyllic resort full of friendly staff and guests. Great food options both on the property and close by within walking distance. It was perfect for much needed r&r. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The pool and lounge area is peaceful with plenty of sun and shaded spaces. I’m so happy we chose Golden Topaz.
Great massage service that I have booked 2 times.
I can’t think of one thing I would change.

This is a lovely resort, it's small and has a beautiful pool and grounds and it's very relaxing
The bed rooms are good, comfortable.. Fairly basic.. Very roomy.. Nice balcony
Any small issues are resolved quickly by the staff
The breakfasts are a bit inflexible as have to order the night before and not many European options..

This was one of my most unusual stays at a resort as we came during low season and we were the only ones there for the week. The owners live on site and they were great at accommodating whatever we needed, which wasn’t much. But check in was simple, they brought our bags up to our room and the room was clean and cool. They provide small toiletries if you need. My only complaint was the hot water is so finicky that you sometimes are cold or burning hot and you’ll never know what’s coming out.

They let us rent a moped for $120,000 a day which is super cheap. And we had to stay an extra day at the same rate due to flight cancellation. You can pre order breakfast to make life simple and it is very affordable.

The site itself is well maintained and lush with foliage and a beautiful warm pool. We enjoyed it very much and it was a fantastic deal.
