Staff were excellent, very friendly & helpful, at reception, and in the restaurant and bar. Moffat is a biker Mecca, and the hotel accommodate this well, with parking in a car park at the back (not secure, but very private).
Location in centre of Moffat is ideal as a halfway point for us to the Highlands.
Staff are friendly and efficient and the food quality and price is excellent.
The dog-friendly rooms are all very dark with no view however they are very good for access
Stayed b4 liked the location very central rooms are maybe a bit dated especially bathroom but don't mind the hotel is older but still clean and comfortable

We were greeted by a genuinely warm welcome by staff that really seemed to care about our stay. We stayed in a well appointed room. Enjoyed a few drinks in evening in the bar, slept well and a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel we will be back.

Exceptionally the restaurant was not open for an evening meal. However there where other hotels nearby where we were able to eat.
Shower pressure
The staff were great and the owner changed our room without asking when he realised my husband had mobility issues. The new decor was very smart.
I appreciate the hotel has had a major renovation and the bedroom itself was very nice but the bathroom needs an update.
Surprisingly the breakfast wasn’t included. That was ok as it meant I didn’t pay for what I didn’t want. Parking was good.
The room was a bit small for the price and quite a maze to get to. I was offered help with my bags though. Although recent renovations have helped still some work to go as bits such as the stairs are still a bit tatty.
