Friendly staff, but now worth the price

Unfortunately, what you get for the price just doesn’t match the cost. The breakfast was disappointing.. $8 per person, I expected at least fresh eggs, not powdered ones.
We ended up getting locked out of our room when the door lock broke. The maintenance guy was incredibly kind and helpful, and I really appreciated how quickly he tried to fix the situation. What surprised me was that the manager never stepped in to help at all. She seemed more focused on directing everyone else instead of assisting guests who were clearly stuck. Maybe that’s her management style, but it didn’t leave a great impression.
They did offer a discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but overall the experience just wasn’t worth the price. I won’t be returning.

My stay was excellent! This was the first time I’ve every stayed at a Hyatt!
Pros:

My experience was superb, the staff were very attentive and the facilities were immaculate.

Cons:

There should be a microwave in each room. I did not like the fact there was one microwave on each floor for all the guest to use. I must say the staff kept it clean with it being open to everyone.

I enjoyed a lovely stay! Downtown Sumter, SC is so nice!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I love that I could walk to local restaurants easily. The gym was also very nice!

For the money that I paid, the room was clean and spacious, BUT there was NO HOT WATER!!! The water was lukewarm AT BEST...That wasn't a COMFORTABLE feeling for me or my wife

Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

The room could have been decent. Air conditioning was loud and disruptive. Room felt and smelled damp. The front door was hard to shut. The bathroom door was hard to open. The shower door was hard to open. The remote did not work even after a battery change that I sought out.
