Don't appreciate getting charged twice for the room.
Upon arrival, I used booking.com to try to book and pay for a room. After going through the process, I received a msg that the room was no longer available, so I paid cash ($125) to the hotel directly. Now I see that my bank account has been billed by booking. Com for $115. I should be refunded.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

I love staying here. The location is excellent, and the value for money is darn good. The room I booked (ensuited, with a Queen and a single bed) is large and comfortable, the water pressure is good, and (given that it's a pub and on the main street) it's not noisy. They provide complimentary bottled water, and the room is bright and airy. This is the 5th time I have stayed there, and will stay again.

Cons:

Be aware that you will have to climb a flight of stairs with your bags, and the nearest all day free parking is a couple of streets away. These aren't problems, but something you might need to know.
